Great stuff, Sepo. Those blue tinted panes cleverly break it up visually. Inspired.

@roger said: สวัสดี Surachai, where did you study in Thailand? I am leaving for Bangkok in less than two weeks to visit with Ajarn Gary of KMUTT's SOAD. Very clean renders. Perhaps the lighting is a little too bright. Thanks for your commment,I graduated in Interior architecture from KMITL since 1987. but I started using CAD and 3d 2-3yaers.

I went looking for "Sketchup Ur Space" to see if the model was preconstructed, as I have seen other mentions of competitions in the forum and those models had similar issues.

Thanks John. The Fresnel effect on water is quite easy to obtain in Artlantis. So thanks to the software! Have a nice day

@unknownuser said: Very nice job. My only critique would be that the AO seems a bit to dark. It stands out moreso in the second rendering to me. -Brodie thanks for the comments sir.. i will noted that ^_^ @zulshah said: hi there, i have a classic design to model.... do u mind share the sketchup models with me...or where could i download it? zulshah65@gmail.com thanks. this i remodel from 3dsmax sir, thank import to sketchup, the file quite big sir

Tahnk you Lee & emerald15. Jeff, I've looked at both those buildings many times, infact TIG suggested Cragside a long time ago. I really don't think I could model either from Photographs alone, but I'd jump at the chance if I could find an elevation drawing. regards John

What do you think the effect of moving the foreground branches down until a few leaves just break the upper outline of the building?

@cheffey said: There are some very helpful comments here. Still this is an absolutely beautiful project. Thank you for sharing this work, this is exactly the type of design work I want to do. Brilliant work Edson. thanks, cheffey. you are very kind. I am really glad my work was liked by some of you in spite of obvious cultural differences.

Hello sepo, thanks for your comments. I don't intend to do interiors of these. The roof is quite a size to texture with good results, a little more PS needed maybe. Hello kurt, I hope the two images below help explain the process I used. regards John [image: dRjh_Vodin-SUtexturedimage.jpg] [image: zyQq_Vodin-rawV-rayoutput.jpg]

Hi, Zootsuit: Your question about which image: yes the first image was where I saw what looked like spurious reflection. After clicking on the image and the enlarge function, I applied Control+Scroll to zoom in tighter. Obviously, the general observer would not necessarily look this close. I was just commenting in case it would concern you about that feature. EDIT: Perhaps print out the image for proofing?

Hmmm.... Englishness in his work is for discussion. Although Arts and Crafts was meant to be localised the style is quite international ... Somilar style was evident in Germany as well.
