Sorry, missed this response, stuff happening and loudly. I will not be sending any scene's for a while as onepillockdrive is taking me up the wall. On my tenth circuit of wall, ceiling, wall, floor....... microsnot wanting me to reinstall the pillock drive to "Experience the full benefit of a properly functioning pc experience, it is only between £20 and £50 per month to home all my files on their 'super safe' servers". Beautiful work! A small suggestion - would look more realistic if the props weren't all in the exact same position.

Hi, All work was done in SketchUp. Steps: Import photo, trace the outlines onto a plane, trace a skeleton, displace the central parts of the skeleton, weave meshes inside the blocks. I depended largely on Tgi3D's curve capabilities. [image: LcFL_dphases.jpg] I am also attaching the sketchup file with the 3D warehouse licesing terms (i.e free). It can be easily slapped on a plane. enjoy Ogan dragoncarving.skp

Here's a streetscape I rendered a while back in Thea. The original Thea render is much darker than the final watercolour so I had to increase brightness and saturation before starting the main process. [image: XQC8_street03.jpg] [image: N70E_WATERCOLOURSTREETBRIGHT.jpg]

Mate, I'd probably throw a tree in the foreground to cast a leaf shadow on to the terrace to liven it up!

Yes Rich if your card is CUDA enabled rendering is very fast,thanks... jaceguay; yeah big files to blender is not working, what I do is import them one by one or I model that object in blender. groups is working fine with me both blender to sketchup... novena; yes I used HDRI for the lighting and reflections, yeah its cool alternative to high-end 3D app and it's free. Please do post some of your renders and I will post some more test in the coming days... Peace

I solved this very one in a few minutes. Needless to say it would take me longer to make it in Sketchup.
