Unbelievable How did you come up with the idea for this? Was it based on something, or did your warped little mind just think it up?

A few new renders after some redesign. Original render was 6440x4200 pixels. [image: 05et_OlsgrdenExt01_2013-03-18_mid.jpg] [image: 4jrU_OlsgrdenExt03_2013-03-20b_mid.jpg]

@leedeetee said: A really nice and clean model, well done. P.s. Bungalow must mean something else in Romania? Here in the UK it almost always means a single storey dwelling. The term bungalow dosen't exist in romanian. bungalow as i know it is a small house with a floor level and mansard usually that has a porch at the entrance . I have a wooden deck for my model. Thanks for the comment:)

@daniel said: That flat horizontal cornice on the porch gable doesn't look good, in my not too humble opinion. It lacks the level of detail found on the rest of the house. Thanks for the input.

The plants are placed in sketchup either billboards, models or proxies. Most renders take overnight on my 12 core mac pro at 4mp. Maxwell being unbiased is always predictable. I save a lot of time in setting a scene because of this.

Hi Sean, I can say without envy that your pictures are fantastic. Unfortunately, I will never reach this level of perfection. But still it is fun to look at your pictures. Charly

Nice plans & sections, though I can't help but feel the proportions externally don't look right.

@solo said: Brilliant, clean and uncluttered, I wish I had clients like this that did not insist on adding people and cars to all scenes. edit, I expanded the night image, there are lots of 'fireflies'. Yeah, it's something of a rarity to have a client/architect that doesn't mind me not filling the scene with "life" as they so often call it. I know a lot of people feel quite strongly about showing buildings with people in, because that's why they are designed in the first place; but I think a building should be able to stand alone and look great. Yeah, those fireflies were really annoying which I shall explain in a second... @unknownuser said: I like 'em. However, they're a tad too noisy, and your AA isn't great. I know, and this is the same reason the fireflies are in the dusk image; time. I had to reduce the render settings due to the fact the images weren't rendering fast enough - they were needed for the next day so I simply couldn't take any chances. In hindsight I've learnt so much since I did this project that I'd love to be able to go back and apply to it, but I just don't have the time.
