A recent project C&C welcome as always. Sketchup & Maxwell

-
very nice! did you use ies lightsources?
-
Beautiful work

But, oh! that floor looks cold!
-
Thanks for the comments guys. I used a simple plane hidden up inside a cylinder in the ceiling rather than an ies light. The project is in Cyprus so cold floors are welcome ! This scene was quite stubborn to render as a reflective box with multiple lights is a worst case scenario for maxwell i think. The scene renders with a simple skydome at 3x the benchmark of the artificial light, night scene.

thumbs up for no noise in this reflective cube

how long did it have to render for this?
-
Chedda, mate I'd put two light sources in each light fitting.
- Hidden emitter - that casts the light and can be powered up to illuminate the room (more than it is now) and
- Visible emitter that shows the light fitting that can be kept at a low illumination to so it doesn't visibly burn the lights out when viewed from the camera!
