pichuneke, We did not get to see Santa Maria la Blanca. A pity. I suppose we will now have to return to Spain to see it. (grin). There was a rich Jewish history in Spain before the Inquisition. We managed to see some of it not only in Toledo but in other cities, especially Cordoba. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Mezquita, exploring the old Jewish quarter was delightful. Thank you for your kind words. Your English is far better than my Spanish. Allen

Thank you gentlemen. Hot tips? Hmmm....get the chocolate cake with mint ice cream. Much better than the flan. Oh, sorry. I don't know if they are hot tips. I set the focal length of the camera to 75mm, the aperture to 2.8 and because I think the aperture should be polygonal, I set it that way with 8 blades. Don't really know if that makes much difference in this case. Probably not. Just play with it and be patient. Reduced DOF seems to increase render times substantially. Good luck. Dave

@mike lucey said: I downloaded squrlz again http://www.snapfiles.com/get/sqirlzwater.html on the Win side of my Mac and thought I'd give the new version a quick run. I hope you don't mind but I used your Pool Scene and came up with the attached. Thought I'd send the results to you. BTW, I only did a quick 30 sec job. I'm sure there are far better results to be had on the trans end of thing with some more time spent. Mike! What a fun little program that is.... My husband noticed that there should have been ripples around the waterfall also.... [image: bo2F_pool-play-SQ.jpg] Thank you to everyone else for the comments I'm going to do some other versions... daylight with a more "playful" atmosphere. I will post when I get it done.

Golly gee, very nice comments. I see a lot talking about the sky and atmosphere. SO, I had nothing to do and made a video of me creating the sky. Now, I really just wanted to play with Camtasia. As for the video its hard to see exactly what I'm doing, so I'll explain. Simply 2 steps. First I place a gradient fill that is purple'ish and orange, then I selected a photograph of a sunset and set it to 50% opacity and placed it. Pretty simple. Here is the video

Pete these are great images and nice technique. I have never really completely understood how HDR's worked. I use Kerkythea and I have found that it is difficult if not impossible to position the HDR or global (are these terms interchangable?) The scale nevers appears to be correct and there dosn't seem to be a way of adjusting. Good work man
