They only have to rip off the mac ads and they cant even do that well!
meanwhile mac ads have to bash pc's, its like an election or something. the truth is there's not that much difference. we had an old mac at work and it actually crashed waaaay more than any pc.
another thing, i'll only say this once (again), if OSX or whatever its called had to handle 15000 (modestly) different hardware manufacturers pumping out all kinds of junk peripherals with crap drivers like microsoft does..... KABOOM!!!! NO MORE STABILITY. its amazing that windows runs at all if you think about it.

RE: How do we divide arc...
i'm sure you could use a dynamic component but i'll let you work out the math...
anyway, i'm really curious why anyone would want to do this thing. can you please share the reason?

RE: Driving Dimensions
and there's a prime example of why i don't own a MAC.
it could be a nuclear powered ,thermo dynamic ,speed of light*2 ,quadruple core ,16 pipeline ,32gig of genetically enhanced organic ram computer ,that can read my thoughts but if you can't get the software??????

i can't figure out how to get the shadow on top of the textures in SU. it seems its one(textures) or the other(lightmap)? if you figure out how to combine them let me know.

on the serious side i love the animation.

I found a basic freeware app the other day that can be used for texture baking. I'm not really sure how much use it is yet.
someone mentioned this program(texture baking) in another thread and i was wondering if anyone here uses it, and what their workflow is. i'm trying it out and it seems pretty cool.
opinions?

Yes unfortunately it can't be done. If you go sketchup up to 3DS though, textures are preserved.
i'm pretty sure you're mistaken. i'm 99% sure i've done it before in fact here, try for yourself.
unzip the file to your desktop or anywhere then import to sketchup, works here with textures.

RE: First Post - Living Room

but seriously thats pretty awsome, one thing i did notice though; the handles on the top cabinet doors should be the same as the lower ones.

RE: Removing Plugin Indigo Help Needed
BTW, this is what indigo can do in about an hour by just hitting render, no tweaking at all;

RE: Indigo For A Dummy
yes, just let it run, i usually leave it overnight. it save an image file every 2 min (default) so you can just go to the indigo/renders directory after and it will be there with something like im456878913133.png as a file name. its easiest to find if you view the directory in thumbnail view. (i hope your on a PC or everything i just posted probably won't make sense)

RE: Removing Plugin Indigo Help Needed
you need to remove skindigo which is the sketchup plugin for indigo. you'll find a file and a folder in your sketchup/plugins directory, remove those.
