Shaderlight Rendering for SketchUp
Just caught wind of this new Shaderlight rendering plugin for SketchUp. Does anyone know anything about this rendering engine. Boy, there sure are getting to be a lot more options for rendering SketchUp models, I have yet to tryout Twilight. I fill like I'am getting behind

RE: My ESC Key Won't Work In SU Anymore?
d12dozr your right, I always select the select tool before pressing the Esc key. Weird thing, it now works. I have no idea what happened. I opened a new sketchup file and it started working so I went back to the file I'm working in and it works now. Strange! Thanks.

My ESC Key Won't Work In SU Anymore?
My Esc key was working 2 days a go and now it's not. I use the Esc key every time I exit editing any component or group now that it's not working it's driving me crazy Does anyone have any suggestions. I have tried another keyboard and the same thing happens. Could I have possibly disabled it without knowing?

RE: [Plugin][$] Curviloft 2.0a - 31 Mar 24 (Loft & Skinning)
This Curviloft tool looks so so nice, I'm way to excited, I can hardly wait. I have been thinking ever since you scripter wizards have been creating these awesome tools for SketchUp. Why Google has not purchased them up and integrated them into the software? Fredo I can hardly wait

SketchUp User Interface
I'am on a windows XP machine and for some reason SketchUp will not open with my windows in the same locations as when I closed the program. It's driving me crazy! I thought that SketchUp did this automatically, do I need to do something to get the interface to open in the same place?

New Computer Q's
I have searched through various threads to try and find what people are saying about a good Sketchup machine to build but always feel like I need to ask. I'm now considering building a new machine, it's been about three years. Is windows 7 ultimate a good idea? You can run 8gigs of memory on it I believe. Does sketchup work on a 64 bit system? I'm not that knowledgeable about hardware not software for that matter. All I need is the processor, mother board, memory, hard drive, and graphic card, any suggestions? Right now I'm running windows XP pro, 4gigs mem, Dual core 2, nvidea 8800 GTX. I mainly use Sketchup, Photoshop, Corel, Piranesi, and other various graphic softwares. I would love to hear what you have to say.

I'm definitely interested in a G Wave invite if anyone still has one.

RE: Cartoon cars
Wow, that is some very nice modeling. I love the little car, looks pretty mean with that exhaust pipe and the heavy duty leaf springs

RE: Model this: Enrico bamboo cheese grater
I really struggled with this at first and now have done it, but the model is a bit heavy.
So, I will probably not have time to model the rest of the box but for me this part was the challenge. I really had fun.

RE: Model this???
I'm in the same position Dale is in, I cannot participate in the challenges that have a pretty extensive amount of modeling due to time constraints. I love the idea of smaller objects that will create a challenge. I really could use some challenges to help me with my modeling skills. Truth be told I'm not that great of a modeler

RE: Model this???
I wouldn't mind participating in this challenge. Mostly because I am not that great of a modeler and possibly this will help.

RE: SketchUp 7.1?
I downloaded and gave it a whirl and the speed increase is fantastic. A model I was working with just days ago was jogging when I had all the theatre seats turned on, now that same model with the seat layer turned on is flying very smoothly as if the layer was off. The speed increase alone is worth the upgrade Oh, and the back button on the component browser being there now, wow I cannot tell you how much I hated that being gone
