My ESC Key Won't Work In SU Anymore?

My Esc key was working 2 days a go and now it's not. I use the Esc key every time I exit editing any component or group now that it's not working it's driving me crazy
Does anyone have any suggestions. I have tried another keyboard and the same thing happens. Could I have possibly disabled it without knowing? -
It depends on the tool you have active, do you have the Select tool active when you press ESC?

d12dozr your right, I always select the select tool before pressing the Esc key. Weird thing, it now works. I have no idea what happened. I opened a new sketchup file and it started working so I went back to the file I'm working in and it works now. Strange! Thanks.

same problem here. esc key doesnt work anymore. maybe if I open another project and go back it might work - but this is an annoying software problem.

What are you trying to do or what tool have you got selected when you are trying to use Esc?

Maybe another hotkey combination for "close component" would help if he esc key has hangups according to tools etc.. Works for me to assign another hotkey.
