    • RE: Playing with curves

      Thx for this tutRégis.

Here is one more way to put in our pocket in order to achieve the difficult work of drawing curves and organic shapes with SketchUp.

      I have learned with it.

      • How can we use two curving guide lines in order to draw something like an organic shape..
      • How can we use Scale Tool(great enhancement possibilities depending with the choice of the lines or surfaces we select to be scale) in combination with Pushpull Tool.

../ Well, in place of your music backline sound, i would like very much some here and there vocal explanations. (In telling that, i know how it's difficult for a french like me with a standard aproximative english knowledge to speak, even a little, without any chance being ridiculous) so: "vas pour la musique"...

Dear Gaieus, i am dealing with Quicktime_6 on my PC. QT_7 (latest version) need at least Win XP SP2, and i'm still working with SP1 because certain stuff compatibility. So.. i'm out.

    • RE: Displaying SketchUp 3D models on a website

Dear Gaieus (how are you ++)

"Display SketchUp 3D models":is a Good idea for me too but!!:

The cubicpanoout.rb QuickTime .mov, 12,2Meg is actually loading for 20 minutes and i havn't yet seen it.

The 3D PDF Exporter of Render Plus looks so good: so handy, so fast!! With a little point to observe however: After 30 days,,, $189.00 - RPS 3D PDF - Single CPU License!!! Really too much expensive for time to time user isn't it?

Hypercosm seems to be heavy soft. Well, it needs a (free) addon install in IE or Firefox to be played: (medium to me because just few people will install it).

As i am writting this post, your Carmelite.mov have finished to download, but Grmwrrwer, i can't play it with QuickTime or others..

      Dear Joe and Bob,
      I've just tried the two.
I'm not sure with Joe Solution because inference is missing to adjust the second arrow on the first one. Do i've missed a step, there is always some space between.

Bob solution works fine. ('paste in place')"Got the good tip!"--- even if it needs a little practice. (I should never have found this Tip by myself. No mention of it in UserGuide!!)

It's silly but i don't find how several leader lines can be attached to a leader text using text tool.

      Dear Didier,

Un très grand bravo et un merci de la même taille pour ce "Projection Pack". I keep it as a permanent basic tools pack of SU.( And i haven't yet tapped quarter of its possibilities.)

      One question:
Construction point is a very handy tool i am using daily. How can we do to erase them after the drawing is finished???

      Dear GunaWan W,

I agree with the others, your last logo is a simple and good one.
You seem to have found the good font. Can you share it "por favor". Thanks,

      Dear Fred,

You are surely right, simple is the best. i'm just waiting with great interest to who and who job, perhaps less for the win and much for the fun.
I like a lot your lastest version (which is more in your way). Now, if you have rest time for it, perhaps can you try a completly foolish one....
      See you on SCF, simon.

    • Can i draw an arc with a specifying circumference value

I have needed several times to draw an arc with a specifying circumference Value.
SketchUp give us the rope and the radius, and we just know how long the arc is into the info dialog box.

      http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj245/Spendauballet/SketchUp/fb3.jpg

I have searched hard to find out, but it seems not existing simple mathematic relation between the couple radius/rope and the desired circumference value.. So,,, i'm certainly not the first with this question.

    • Searching the better way to split a shape in two.

It seems to be so an evidence for lot of you that i havn't found the way to do it anywhere:

"How do we split a complexe shape by the middle"??

                [

For now, i make a parallel rectangular face ,-, move the shape by is center to surface ,-, Select all, intersect with model ,-, delete an half part. >> laborious, long, many wrong erased pieces. I'm shure we can do it better

I am using Total Commander for years. It's absolutely the best files manager i know (xp explorer is really boring.Years ago, Windows 3.11 had developped an elegant one named Winfile with multiple windows/ really good. In this past time, Windows users was invited to put their hands into the engine. This is over right now. Here is if you want a Windows NT version, working under XP (but with some limitations if i remember). (no installation: direct exe.)(and no viruses)
