Same here...
Link to the gallery hopefully works, there you find some screenshots...
Just saw the advert:
Might be interesting to check out for some of you guys...

Just to point out again what Adam already said, Silhouette to Workplane makes closing difficult outlines sooo easy. Brought back the faith in freehand tool to me.

Rocky, that is a pretty smart idea. I am having thoughts about this kind of matte painting tricks all the time.

thanks again for your generosity TIG!
Random select by TIG is here:

To model the roughness you could use Randomize TIN plugin or just Random Select plugin and scale holding contol key...
Thanks Zacchia, the sequences will be looking good with LightUp texture animation.
One better than the other, congratulations! I like the way you populate with entourage. One may think "no big deal", but for some reason it looks very realistic. People are from Formfonts, right?
Also the reflections are very well done and work magic.

Thanks for sharing Pilou, Chaoscope is really beautiful!
Bravo! The canvas texture I personally find a tiny bit too intense, but apart from that they are just great.

Just great! You are a hero, hats off to thee!

This thread illustrates well how SU is used in design:
Like the name says, it has to be components, not groups.
very good idea TIG! Although, I am getting some errors here - with a single loop of edges it works fine, but for several faces it gets messed up:

btw, would it be possible to have the projection lines run all to the same focal point, similar to Radial Lines plugin? Like this we could also have a flattened picture of a perspective view.
Hi ckho1985, maybe Chris Fullmers Components onto Faces works in SU8. It gives similar results.

Hello Andy and welcome!
Do you know SketchUp Pro Jobs group?
http://groups.google.com/group/sketchup-pro-jobs
Dont know how much you can get out of this though...
...but like Solo says, There are so many design branches already using this (passionate relationship building) software. Just hang around and spy out what the members here are designing and find out what you would like to be specializing in.
good luck
Wow, THANK YOU master TIG! very useful for me too
