similar workflow as a workaround with other
plugins too ... (in my transition to 2017).

In general, I also get the annoying extension
manager popup every session :
"There are 'x' extensions ready to be updated"
However, they won't update for various reasons.

Is anyone having problems using "roof" in 2017 pro ?

I get this in the ruby console (for a hipped roof) :

Hello, has anyone received these error messages ?

I drew a straight section of an few arbitrarily
profiles .... crown105, crown106.
(downloaded from the pb2 website)

I experimented with extending and trimming to
a perpendicular profile/face, etc.

any thoughts on cause ?
any ideas to remedy ?

From the moment I enter Sketchucation and
everytime I open and new page I am bombarded
with pop-up ads that covers the page (every page !)

I'm unable to see or do anything without closing
the endless ads.

Using Adblocker won't allow access to certain content
like plugins, images etc.

A wonderful way to bring in the new year . .
Nothing short of counter-productive, to say the least.

Any thoughts to remedy this ?
(other than not using the site)

@Jim, Firefox is my browser

1. Spent several hour investigating/searching folders and files
2. Ended up using commercial scan software to find culprit and
   deleted it from the file system and registry.
3. Culprit = PUP.optional.AceRace.A

Have no idea where it came from.

Hope this helps someone in a similar situation.

The second download I used (and works w/ 2015) was from the
'download' button immediately above, in this thread.

The extracted/installed extension file has the
same name for both versions.
file = cloud_v8b.rbs

v8 works for me with SU8 pro x32, windows 8.1

v8b does not appear to work with SU 2015 x64, windows 8.1
vertical (z axis) data appears to be ignored
all points are on a flat horizontal plane
X Y positions/locations render correctly
same .csv data file imports into both SU8pro (v8) and SU2015 (v8b)

I don't know if it matters . . .
I notice extra characters in v8b 'points cloud options' input dialog window
the extra characters "] do not appear in v8 SU8pro

Hello, I'm just getting things setup with 2015 x64
[ windows 8.1 x64, cpu: intel i7-4700HQ 2.4 ghz, 8gb memory,
display adapters: intel hd 4600 + nvidia geforce gtx 860M]

I don't see the 'dashed line' when selecting with a crossing selection.
however, it does select and highlight objects.

Everything appears to work with plugins, etc. (except that selection
boxes are not visible)

Am I missing a setting somewhere ?

OpenGl in the Preferences window was/is set to 'fast feedback' . . left untouched

I'm new to Sketchup, SketchyPhysics (1 week now) and SketchUcation .. I'm a fan of All and I'm an Autocad user from R12.

I've Installed SP3.2 from (SetupSketchyPhysics3.2-Dec2.exe).

It seems to work ? ...I have a 'blue axis' learning curve.

However,

1. I have a constant note: "Requires SketchyPhysics3.2" in the upper-left-hand corner.

2. I cannot seem to access 'joint settings' from rt. clk on a hinge (for example).

I don't know of those are bugs ?
