Is there a limit on how big SU can export (on any computer) then? Because surely as a 32 bit app it can only address a small bit of memory?

Also - have you tried to see if Hypercosm could work for you...?? 😐

I appreciate the input but quite honestly that is a little too low end for what they are looking for. I did not see anything regarding VR or hotspots which are a major item they are looking for. I just know I will hear that this looks too "game like" for our purpose. I do not think the money is the big issue to them currently it is more the output quality and how well it plays with Sketchup.

model looks great.. the only thing that distracts is the tiling grass- it looks like carpet. I learned a neat grass trick from this model here:

Thanks to everyone for their input. I think for the time being I am going to stick with the free version as I can not see the value of going to the pro version for what I am doing.

It is an idea I have had for a while. This way I do not have to carry a laptop to every meeting. The player has to be fairly easy to use as well. I do not want a client getting frustrated if the player does not work as expected. Thanks for the input. I think today I will be going to make a decision and pick one up. I will let everyone know what I find.

Thanks everyone for your comments. These were not as good as I would have wanted but that is what happens when it is a very tight deadline. I had a week to do a animation of 3 floors and a total of 500 cubicles plus 24 rendered images. All work was done for Knoll directly. They did love it so my fingers are crossed for more work!

The Kia Rio (in USA) is around $13,500 and the average cost of a 17" TFT is around $500 for a good one.

Mmmmmm! It looks like they have $13,000 to play around with. Split the difference $7,000?
