RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Lol.
Good render btw, very nice!
Very similar to my very old renders of my Maverick. I think I used Indigo too.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Those are great renders, thanks Shams!
I was really interested in the texture application process. I have all the render settings on their default but I don't really know what to do about the textures. If you could send me some info on what types of textures you use for what ad the levels you set them at. I just seem to get very rough metal and body paints...

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I have tried that method but I think I’m doing the textures or render settings wrong. I have the render settings set to their defaults. Maybe it’s just my cr@p processor that can’t handle rendering. It seems to do the same thing no matter what program I use...

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Damn it! Why do my renders turn out crap! Shams, you need to show me all your settings

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Wow Shams, that’s looking really nice. I do appreciate what you’re doing very much
I just got a newer version of Hypershot, let’s see if it’ll work now
EDIT: Yay! It works, absolutely no problems so far! But my texturing is a little sh!t -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Finally finished!
This is a modern incarnation of the one off concept from Ford. In 1970 Ford showcased the Concept along with 5 other vehicles. The model was praised and the few fans said it would be one of the most looked at cars. It was rarely photographed and was long forgotten by most. After its showing the concept was crushed as was common practice. The resulting model was the 1971 Mustang, although the original inspiration was speculated as being the ‘69 Shelby Mustang. This modern Milano holds many of the same design features as the original but some changes are necessary for modernization. The engine would be a 450hp supercharged V8 mounted to the same underpinnings as the 2010 Shelby Mustang. This model was requested by Wolfgang, author at http://www.ponysite.de. The base model is the Trojan Cobra GT S. Note: You can move the front lights into place and delete the covers to show them. "The Rogue Generation"

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Update:
-Hood
-Rear window
Hey Shams! Would you be kind enough to do some renders of this once I'm finished? I don’t have anything to do renders, the only good thing is Hypershot and it doesn’t work for me -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Wow, that’s one nice Mustang. I do very much like the Fastback body but I do agree with you about the tail lights. They need to curve inward, like the second gen Fastback...Still very nice
Just to remind you, I'm making a modern version of a Mustang Concept, yes, it may look a bit out of place, but it’s a concept!

RE: My .SKP Works
I think an Evo would be a good idea but I still prefer the latest RX-8

RE: Rendering with Graphics Processor
Yeah, I have already maxed my RAM. It’s at 2GB now and the only thing holding it back from 4GB is my cr@p processor. Apparently my board can handle an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz but the damn thing costs as much as what my computer cost me originally. But I don’t really think my ram will matter much if my processor cannot process all the stuff going on. I have never seen my RAM reach 100% at 2GB it’s always my processor maxing out.
Damn expensive Hardware!

RE: Rendering with Graphics Processor
Thanks for some useful information and rants .
I had taken a look at LightUp but I cannot afford the cost of the program, that then brings me to my next problem;
I have a low end laptop with a simple Intel 1.86GHz processor and a built-in Graphics unit. I cannot afford to upgrade, If I could I would have no problems with rendering. It also isn’t an Nvidia card...Oh well...

Rendering with Graphics Processor
I hope this is the right place to post this question
I am a regular SU user and have always liked seeing high quality renders come from programs that support SU. I have tried out many programs that work as pre-rendering software but that takes too much time and often return less than satisfactory results. This is too time consuming especially when a lot of tweaking is involved.
I have tried out Hypershot, which is a real-time renderer, but that always fails to work on my computer.I know the benefits of utilizing a Graphics card to render, rather than ones CPU, but there are so few programs that do this. Are there any other programs, which utilize ones Graphics Card, for rendering SU models?
If not, why aren’t there more, it makes much more sense to use the Graphics Processor?
