How do you convert a .jpeg file to a .skm file. I have many textures in other programs that I would like to use in sketchup.

Great. Now where do I find "Titleblock"?

I can't find any Arch size sheets (24"x36"). Do I have to create a new template?

I'm talking about the width (thickness) of a line (stroke). The tutorial on You Tube shows about a dozen options of thickness. My program only shows about a half dozen.

I'm trying to get a thin line.

So how do I get more options?

I was watching the Style Builder Tutorial on Youtube and I noticed that they show many more options for stroke width than are in my program. I have the latest version per the update tab.

How can I get more stroke width options?

I have been using it professionally since 1993 and with Sketchup for presentations and study models I am quite content.

When I use the stretch tool to mirror the selected entities, the result is upside down.
What am I doing wrong?

I was referring to a number of selected entities, not a component. The selection may have included a group.

I have not figured it out yet.

I just noticed when trying to move a number of selected entities that I can only move them along one axis and not the axis I want.

What am I missing?

I have not noticed this before and I've been using Sketchup since version 5.

Will the program open and work with existing Autocad drawings?

The "save link as" was successful.

The right click does not show a "save as" option. It just says "save link as". I haven't tried that because I already have the link.

Anyway, I'm going to get a high speed connection soon, or find a friend with xt or vista to download it for me and put it on my thumbdrive.

I just tried for the 3rd and 4th time. No success.

I use Star Downloader. It says it is downloading but takes 1 or 2 seconds and then says it downloaded 0 Bytes.

I guess I'll have to wait until I get a high speed connection on my win xt pro machine.

It still does not download on my Win2kpro computer. It says it is downloading but the end result if a 1k file. What's with that?

That's what I thought. I've tried downloading it 2 times already, having to fill in the forms each time.

Maybe the 3rd time will be a charm.
