Hi Guys,
I've recently captured my house from Google Earth and modeled it on SU7.The file is attached.
My question is how do i get the part i modeled to sit on the sloping site that i live on? Things like the fence, house and shed are ugly when i use the stamp tool. And when i try to smoove terrain it gets messy?
If i have to start again it's fine but I'd like to know if there's a video out there that can explain what I'm trying to achieve?

i've being struggling making screw threads that don't twist and was pointed to the above site. where i go from there is beyond me???????
Greetings,
I tried this post in the newbie section but it died a long death! So, here's my query, i want to make various thread types for screws and bolts of different diameters, pitch and leads. That is, 'V-Threads, Acme Threads, Buttress Threads' etc.
Is there a plugin that will make my life easier? I've tried 3d Warehouse for components but no luck?
Remus kindly supplied the following links to help understand what i'm trying to make
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acme_thread
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buttress_thread
thanks for the interest chris, but the following post answers your question.
Greetings,
I'm trying to create various thread types with SU7, v-thread, acme thread, buttress thread and round thread. Is there a plugin that can do this for me? I would also like to be able to change the lead on each of these threads if possible?
