If the device was activated using Sketchucation Tools < 4.3 then you won't see checkboxes at https://sketchucation.com/webshop/my-licences.php

Go to the device and upgrade Sketchucation Tools

I need exactly this.

Hello guys, one thing that is really bothering me is, as you can see on image below, my cloth material looks better before it finishes the render.

Before rendering, it looks like the material on the preview, but after it renders, it loses the shine that I wanted.

Vray 4.2 for sketchup.

How do you want the materials listed ?
e.g. by 'display_name' or something else ?

The way you listed is perfect, pretty simple and straight forward. Is it possible to list by the area? For example, material A is used in 1sqm, material B in 2sqm and material C in 0,5sqm. So the list is:

B
A
C

What will you use the list for ?
Basically I need to know wich materials I used in each model, to organize them.

CSV file seems unnecessarily complicated - a simple text file as a list might suffice ?

Hello! Im searching for someone who can make me a plugin, of course I'll pay for that.

What I need is to export in a csv file all the materials used in the model. The same ones that shows on the "In model" list. Thats it. Just the names, no need for area etc.

I looked around to see if I could find another extension that could do what you ask but didn't find anything. I expect you could hire one of the extension authors to write one for you. You might ask in the Plugins category to see if one of them might have time to do it in exchange for some payment.

I hadn't used this feature for a long time but I see the blank console unless I open one of the components for editing and select the geometry inside. Not sure if maybe Thom Thom meant it to work that way or it needs a fix.

Still showing a blank console.. But anyway, what would really help me is a plugin that export in csv a list of the materials used in the whole model, and the name of the file, thats it. Do you know someone that can create one like that?

What version of SketchUp are you using? It may be possible depending on the the version. It might be that Thom Thom's Materials Tools would get you the info you want. It won't create a CSV file but you can get a list that you could copy.

A pretty simple list in .csv of materials used would be really helpful to me. Is there a plugin for that?

Ill use the Pack Project option on vray 4.2, then import on vray 3. Is it possible?

Thanks! Great plugin by the way. It worked better than cleanup, but still left some coplanar edges, and looks random too, that will give me trouble when texturing. (See attachment)

You could try tweaking with Vertex Tools Merging Close Vertices. It's demonstrated in this video

Unfortunately didn't work, some edges that I did not want to merge, got merged.

Hello! I noticed that when I use SubD, it creates some polygons that are not really necessary, making the file bigger. You can see in the example below:

I tried using TT's cleanup, looks like it removes some "random" lines. Of course its not random, but it leaves a lot of lines that I can erase and keep the same geometry.

Any tips on how to optimize it?

Exactly what I'm doing, but each model has 8 different scenes, its taking a long time. I know it's possible to make a .bat file, I just don't know how

The Batch Render command only renders the scenes inside a sketchup file, I need to render multiple sketchup files that have multiple scenes inside them. But they need to render file by file.

I have multiple sketchup files with pre configured scenes. Is there a way to create a .bat file to render all of the files and their scens, one by one? Thanks!

Hi! Im using sketchup 2019 and vray 4.2, when I render a scene, I get the regular image, and also BumpNormals, Denoiser, EffectsResult. All from one scene. The only thing I want is the final result, is it possible?

Example: I select a face, tile width/height and divider dimensions, then it creates a tile surface, to use at floors or wherever i want.
