Heyz everybody,
It has been a while since my last post here. Wanted to show my latest side-project. The model was made in SU and rendered in Vray. Feel free to comment on the renders.

Hi Everybody,
We are planning to do an animation in Lumion 7. It's an exterior infrastructure animation. It will be our first large project in Lumion. Are there any tips and or tricks you guys can think of? The modeling will be done in SU.

Hi,
Nice work. Love the composition of the shot. Only thing to mention is the yellow ceiling lighting. A bit to yellow for my taste but it might be intentionally.

Nice and Clean design Richard. The only thing I can mention is the Toilet. I think a floating toilet would look nicer in this scene.

Nice work Ichi and friends! Very Impressive! Looks like a game I would download when browsing games in the Store. Keep up the good work.

Great model and render. Love the detailing on the model and renders.

Hi Neets,
Nice room and render. I have to agree with mike. some of the models in the scene need some attention. If your goal is to achieve a photo realistic level then you have to take your scene's and models to the next level. Detailed models are one of the essentials in my opinion. Models can make or brake a render/scene.
Like the idea of the coffee table BTW!

Seems That somebody got out of bed with the wrong foot! And that foot seems to have very long toes!
Hi kris,
I've played with keyshot back when it was still version 2 I think. Keyshot is one of the best product render apps out there. It's very easy to use. drag and drop materials. It's development focus is mainly on product rendering area I think. For architectural visualisations keyshot is not a good option in my opinion. It can be done, but this works better with other rendering apps.

Hi Neets,
I like the mood that you're setting in the animation. The only thing that keeps bugging me is the intensely pixelated rabbit and birds. I understand that the birds make it that cheesy that it becomes funny. I can relate to the loathing part at the end. I made a couple of animations in after affects where the soundtrack drives the animation. After completing the project I can't bare to hear the music anymore. After hearing Swedish House Maffia for the 1000 time I almost jumped out the window.
What software did you use to make the animation?

Hi Guys,
thanx for the nice comments on the scene and renders. I agree that the missing handrail can be an accident waiting to happen. But hey.... Living on the edge .

Hi Everybody,
Wanted to share my latest bedroom scene with you. Half way the scene I was struggling finding a eye-catcher for the left wall.... And then I found the Lion . I really like it in this scene. Love to hear your comments and feedback on the model, render and on the Lion of course . The room and basic interior made in SU. Render made with Vray.PP in photoshop.
I also want to compliment JKiehlmann on the Pouf models available in the Sketchucation Model shop. http://sketchucation.com/shop/models/furniture/866-8-pack-ottomans---poufs. I used one in this scene. Love the UV mapping, saves a lot of time.

The automatic conversion of C4D to Vray material is crap. It's best to make your vray materials from scratch in C4D. Don't know if anything changed in the new Vray for C4d 1.8. The new vray has a lot of bugs so I would stay with 1.2.6.

Hi Rich,
I really like the model and renders. Like the Blender one the most. Did you model the chair in SU or Blender?

Hi Bryan,
I really like the ambiance. Like the planting. Looks like a nice balcony to relax in the summertime.

Hi Richard and Allanx,
I was wondering how to go about when wanting to sell some models in the store. I've made some fairly detailed furniture and lighting models and wanted to share them with you guys for a reasonable price. I started the modeling of furniture and lighting because there aren't many good high poly models available for photorealistic rendering. I was hping to add these higher poly models the the Sketchucation store. I posted some pics of the models here:

Hi Micha,
Love your style. Seems you got the whole UV mapping and displacement thing under control. I've had a look at Z-brush. I like to possibilities of teh app but the navigation and UI are not my cup of tea. Can't get my head around the navigation. For the basic sculpting of furniture I use other sculpting app.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the nice words about the model. Great to hear that you like the models. I'will prepare a model for SU and post it here for you to download. Love to see it in one of your renders or work.
Here is another Chair I made and a test I did trying the model the Chesterfield look thingy. I decided to first try it out on a lamp.
@Hieru:
The modeling proces is more or less the same as with artisan. It's all about where you cut the geometry with the knife tool. Most used tools are Bevel, Extrude, and a lot of loop selections and moving points
