I usually make it a component then copy the component and scale it up 10-1000 times and make the tiny stuff on that copy. When done I just delete the copy and the original component is done.

Yeah, sometimes bugs are easily squashed.

I fixed the bug but haven't uploaded it yet as I also found another bug that I need some advice on how to solve. If you desperately need the quick fix let me know and i could PM it to you.

Now the script is updated to v1.1.

This seem to work:

if e.definition.name.match(/^MyComp/)

I noticed a bug in one of my scripts because there can be multiple components created with names like MyComp, MyComp#1, MyComp#2 and so on.

Is there a way of checking what a name starts with?

Instead of:

if e.definition.name == "MyComp"

I need something like:

if e.definition.name STARTS WITH? "MyComp" (Pseudo code)

Is that possible?

Could you upload the scene so I can see why it isn’t working for you.

Not implying anything but what if a script is encrypted (rbe)?
Then no one could know if any code is copied from another source.

About Floorgenerator script. What if he removed that part of the script?

Could it be the name?
As there is a 3DS Max plugin called Floorgenerator.

I think the modelling and idea is very good.
The first image though, I feel, is a bit boring.
No dramatic lighting, no dramatic compostion.
What is the "story" you want to tell?
Is that told in the most effective way?

I don't mean to sound harsh. Just some ideas how to improve.

That has been the case for me since several years.

Logging out and in again is what I need to do for every update. However Vertex tools doesnt work anyway. Installing it manually works but maybe Thomthom or anyone in the SketchUp team could look into it. It's very annoying the way it (doesn't) works.
