RE: SDS & FFD Abstract Sculptures with Interesting Textures
Can you use some texture like this or must it be tiling seamless?
(here Zbrush doodling)you can find some on my "Speedy galerie" free to you to use them

RE: FILE CONVERSON from SU to Algor
take a look here 3D Converter(50$ or 40€)
Maybe some format like OBJ, IGES can work -
RE: Photomatch with more than 1 pic
Take a look at this link
Some videos are on your subject (use the "research on the page" of your navigator)
Normally only 2 corners are sufficent -

my building models often provide interesting textures for my abstract sculptures
That is some fractal if your abstract sculptures often provide interesting textures for your building models

and from a bit of distance they seem to tile really badly (not to speak about the nasty moire effect)
You have some buttons like "seed" for choice another variations of forms
and other for increase or attenuate the nasty moire effect
and the tiling itself is "perfect"!@unknownuser said:
Unnatural
maybe it's just procedural

RE: Creating seamless textures
Take a look in the free procedural Genetica Viewer terrific free prog and very easy size 3000*3000 if you want
And this free Wood WorkShop
Have seamless tiling texturingPs A little trick : load the pro version 30 days of Genetica and copy the content folders "Viewer Presets" et "Wgroups" in Genetica Viewer so will have a whole bunch of textures

RE: Moore Abstracts
Does the mesh can be less detailed (number of facets) for a same result of texturing or this one is the minimum?

RE: Is this true or a sick joke?
It's the "Apple's skin" the danger : just 27 pesticides inside for a normal apple: so you must peel the apples
