The ruby .obj exporter doesn't work for me. The model has nested groups. 
I use Sketchup for fun, like the roman theatre of Cartagena thread, and I use a free version. And I am saving for leaving my home because today in Spain people usually leaves the house of their parents at 55 years old as they don't have enough money and... You know.
And I speak english like Indians in Far West Movies...
(At least the translations of the films to spanish were funny when Indians speak...)

And Frederik, I am sure you know of that, but after exporting to kerkythea to make a render of it, the curved surfaces lose the position of the textures...

SOLVED. Google Sketchup generates 3 different files: Sketchup v.5, Sketchup v.6 and Google Earth .kmz.
The generated .kmz was bigger than 10 mb, so I had to manually reduce the size of the textures used in the model

I am going to post a photo in the theatre thread with the actual capital. It will be about 230 kb at the moment, I did something wrong with the actual columns (they are too big, in fact I repeated them 3 times, I didn't know anything about components at that time ), so I can reach the 500 kb (but I don't think that happens).
