Hi there !
I was wondering what is the best method to get an image of a bottle wrapped around a 3D bottle in Sketchup ?
see image in attachement
Thanks !
got an answer from the team :
We are working on the plugin compatibility with SketchUp 2013 right now and hope to be releasing very soon- but as we are not yet in testing phase I'm afraid I can't be specific about a date. YouΒ΄ll receive notification from us when it is released though.
I hope this helps but if you have any other queries please don't hesitate to let me know.
Kind regards,

Moved the Maxwell plugin files to the new Sketchup 2013 but it seems not to work anymore.
Does anybody know more about this ?
Peter
You're absolutely right, but it was a quick test
Also I don't know how to change the direction of the textures in sketchup. (help)
The Maxwell plugin gives you access to thousands of super textures but they only can be used a provided.(for the moment?)
You need the full Maxwell to edit them (bump etc..)
A small test with a bench made in Sketchup and rendered in Maxwell for Sketchup.
Hi everybody,
I wanted to ask what is the easiest way to draw a metal back panel with small holes in it (the kind you see in the store
A lot of holes (like 200) diameter 4mm and between maybe 25 mm
I can draw a square extrude it 3mm ad a circle, make a hole of it, select that hole and copy it but then the hole is closed and I have to reopen it by adding a small line onto it so it becomes a separate surface that I can delete, but I dont want to do this 200 times
thanks,
Peter
Small (dumb?) question.
When I add a picture to an object in sketchup and render using Maxwell for Sketchup then the image doesn't render.
Do I do something wrong ? or do I need to set some settings to make it work ?
Peter
I've made a 3Ddrawing of a table I had in mind and did a testrender with Maxwell for Sketchup.
The render takes a while but it is fairly good I think.
For the moment I am testing different renderers.
Used ArtLantis a lot, but have to buy an update
Maxwell render = ok but slow (texture databank is huge)
LumenRT = version 3 is cool, good for animations (kind of alternative for Lumion on PC)
Render-in = very quick live preview, nice renders

I recently started to use Sketchup over VectorWorks for 3D models and slowly am getting the hang of it.
Due to the aid of the sketchup community and the discovery of some file plugin's.
As a designer I would like the plugin's to be a bit more consistent what the GUI (graphic user interface) concernce.
But anyway they work and that's also important.
Here is an example of my latest work
