No. 2 why would you do that unless you had something like Jeff mentioned from Easydraw. I can see removing these from MacHD like WInd-Borne said makes since but he said he get's "you sure you want to remove from list". ?

No. 3 @ John the link you provide shows a different "color pallet" than I see with the edition of a image Icon maybe Apple has changed this since 10.5.7 I'm using 10.7.4.

BTW Tomaz's frontface.rb is great for this I use it a lot, you don't even have to open components or groups for editing just start front face and wave it over reversed faces.

Ya that's what my PDF looks like but when I print it the dimensions aren't there the rest of the model is but no dimensions

Well that pretty much sums it up. Whether I print from LO or export to PDF same thing my first print job.

Hi Adam welcome, the top needs to be one face so you can extrude it with the push/ pull tool the lines in the rectangle are unnecessary so erase them, your probably going to have to download the weld plugin found here I think that will weld your curves together and form a face then erase lines forming rectangle to curved face then with the top being one face you can pull it up to the desired thickness 40 mm, get that far and we'll help with the rest.

No just hip one ridge I tried a hip and valley and I to really work at intersecting and clean up the rafters.
