    • Printing Extremely SLOW!

      When printing from Layout I use the print to pdf first and the print the actual pdf file. My problem is that these pdf files take forever (about 8-10min per page) to process/print. Running Layout on a MAC printing to HP 2800. Files are 13x19 at 150dpi. What am I doing wrong?

    • Printer problems ! New printer suggestions

      Hello;
      I currently have an HP 2800 that's loaded with the max RAM and I have horrible problems printing layout pdf's - It's taking several minutes (anywhere from 5-10) to process a single 13x19 page. I'm thinking that the printer memory is just not enough so I'm looking for advice from people who have good printing performance on 13x19 layouts. Running Sketchup & Layout on MAC.

      Thx,
      Marc

    • Location of default Components folder on MAC

      Maybe it's too late on a friday....
      Can someone please tell me where the location for the default component library is on a mac? Tried all sorts or searches for it but can't come up with it.

      Thx,
      M

    • Dimensioning

      Problem: After extruding walls in a building i want to dimension interior and exterior walls and openings, but but my dimensions appear "on top" of the extruded walls instead of on the floor plane. How can i insert dimensions on the floor plane after walls have been extruded?

      Thanks,
      mk

      Very good tutorial - I'm very new to SU, so please excuse this question, but i got lost in step 4 - how can i extrude another face on top of the door volume? tried drawing a new face on top of the door, but i always pull the original volume.

      thx a lot
