@dukejazz said: Why don't we pay them to raise Elephants under contract and them give the Elephants to the people that paid to raise them when they die.... then make sure that register Elephants are only then sold for body parts. Turn poacher to raise them... like rancher... longer they live the more money they receive paid noting when they die ....only value in Elephant are the living ones. ...death penalty if you murder one. or steal one....... only contractor can sell Good suggestion, although I would not be keen on the death penalty for poachers. Most of these guys seem to be dirt poor. Its the 'middle men' that should face severe penalties. World Wildlfe have the 'Adopt an African Elephant' program. Did anyone get the sound bite? The bird has a microphone. And, yes, we do need to ponder. Edible 3d printing is gearing up.

Well, the XPS 15 handles it like Windows 8.1 handles it, you have a similar selection for the scaling factor (100% etc.), and Gnome/GTK3 has a stepless slider. The question is whether the applications you use adhere to the scaling factor. Windows has a huge and diverse application ecosystem with different toolkits, which is at times its strength but leads also to little inconsistencies. Hi-dpi screens are pilot devices, only by using them you create the demand for developers to fix their applications over time. Look at the good ones and have patience, the tendency is that everything can only improve. Smaller ecosystems can easierly keep with the pace. All my main applications are of the GTK3 stack and they scale pixelperfectly (why I didn't return my Yoga 2), but as soon as I use for example third-party applications of different toolkits or Windows applications (like SketchUp), I depend on how well they do.

I posted about this before. I'm hoping the first production run is this Spring and that it works as advertised. Much as I still depend on the 'old tape measure' and digital tape measures and such, getting the basic data of a whole room(s) with a scan would be an immense time saver for me. http://structure.io/

Keeping an eye on Green Vehicles, I have just watched the launch of the new Tesla Model X and was extremely impressed with what Tesla are going to produce. The Model X is a very capable SUV (Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive), People Carrier (7 Adults and good luggage space), Sports Car (quicker that a Carrera!) and a decent effort at a being a Van when required! [image: iHRq_TeslaModelX.jpg] For me the best part of this is that these cars are being designed and built in CA, USA. Its about time that USA got serious about car design and manufacturing and Tesla is definitely leading the way. I'd imagine many Americans that currently drive BMWs will be seriously looking at the Tesla Model X now! The launch presentation video is here, http://youtu.be/mURbzh9t0_0 and it worth watching how the rear 'Falcon Wing' doors operate.

There was a great story on our national TV broadcasted show "Landline" of a macadamia nut (indigenous nut to Aust) processor who found the nut shells that are so rich in oil (as is the gorgeous nut!! 70% fat) that the burning of the shell produced such energy that this waste could power the plant and the local regional town! The beauty here also was that they then returned a larger part of this win in paying the grower a higher price for the delivered weight as being for both the nut and shell yield! BTW - I'm not certain if you guys OS have had the opportunity to try these nuts, but trust if you like nuts I'd prioritise sourcing some! Yuuuuummmmyyyyy!
