The 'Model T' of 3D printers?

Steve Schell of New Matter has launched a very low cost 3D printer ($250) aimed squarely at the masses. In the design, he has taken a different approach to other 3D printers, movement is by the plate rather than the printer head.

On that tv show "The Profit" the guy said he bought a 3D printer for $250,000. It was for toy prototyping.
