The problem I have with "single world" anything is that it has nothing at all to do with the people or the world, or making the world a better place. There is no altruistic reason for this, no reason to stop war, no halt to genocide, no cessation of doing all the stupid things humanity has done for a thousand years. If they wanted to create such a world, why not make it for free education? Free health care? Jobs for all? Stop the production of arms and ammunition worldwide? I figure this is every bit as reasonable as a centralized world government.

The reality is:

It's about money.

It's about business.

It's about greed.

It puts all the power and money in the hands of a few and makes it easier for businesses and commercial entities to access and control the flow of goods and resources around the world. Unless a "New World Order" includes a system to level the playing field for all peoples, it serves no purpose other than the aforementioned. Even if it did, it would never work; if a system of government like that actually worked, we would have started using it a long time ago.

This does not surprise me in the slightest. It's been a matter of "crony capitalism" for a long time....on both sides of the aisle.

I wonder if this is the best solution for them for attracting tourists....i mean i don't know if ordinary people not jusr UFOlogists will go there, and i doubt that they are so many that millions if dollars are worth making that embassy.
A better sollution would have been making the opposite of where Dubai is doing, instead of making new islands in the sea, better make new seas or lakes in the desert (oasis) 😛 .

No, I'm not getting it...I've always got it. There are bad and misguided people in the world who through sheer evil, or more often lack of consideration for others or all of the relevant factors, manage do bad things....including usurping powers they have no right to. We even have a phrase for the latter: "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

What I don't do is get all worked up about it like some teenager discovering sex for the first time, utterly convinced that no one else in the entire history of mankind has ever 'discovered' this before.

Liberty requires vigilance, it doesn't require paranoia. (That US Bill doesn't even mean the end of commercial organic farming in the US, much less an end to growing food for your own consumption...although it is clearly a case of Monsanto flexing its muscles; and it is still perfectly legal to photograph policemen in the UK...just not when they are on anti-terrorist stake-outs. Hyperbole never helps anyone's case.)

As for what I tell my children...nothing. There is a difference between telling and discussing. They are old enough, intelligent enough and mature enough to weigh the evidence for themselves and come to the appropriate conclusions without any prepping from me.

That's the idea, Phil. I no longer have the original .fla file; if I did, I'd send it to you so you could see the actionscript. In that example, there are about 24 invisible "piano keys" overlaying the flash symbol...each one linked to a specific image.

Yes it is better to displace it in rendering process. But if you wish to present it in SU than modelling becomes an option.
It would be very nice to have kind of populate script to work within given/chosen surface (including curved). One would be able to choose other surfaces/shapes to populate with. I supose one need to have some parameters; ie density (how much the shapes are allowed to overlap if any) and how do you treat intersection with given surface....Probably it would be useful to have "try again" if one is not happy with solution. It might be plugin already which can do this, or not.
