Another interesting section animation I did showed 2nd floor of my house in perspective. Then I started moving the camera down and at the same rate moved the section plane down (from scene to scene). The end result looks like the section plane is stationary and someone is pushing the model up into the section plane where it dissolves. Ends up being pretty cool effect.

Merci Didier The dll file is located in the folder, despite some wrong written word I corrected, I've still this message so I'm little bit disappointed.. Thanks for the heads up on this! I've been doing a lot of scaling of grouped objects and components and these little tidbits will help my aching mind.

THX to deathcloud and basic.woodwork for your replies. In fact, The SketchUp freeversion ist the most designed viewer, but I experienced that a lot of people facing such Images are quite disappointed when using 3D program. They have to learn first how it works. ( Let's remember our first try with Microsoft Office ...) That why a light viewer would given less pain... As far as the Avi is concerned , no possibilities to go deep into the model for technical explanations... Well; I can survive MALAISE

Hello, Cphillips You're right. I'm not thinking to such a complex task. I thought to some trigger to initiate the next movement ( sequential ) whatever this movement involves one or several groups. Let's see as example,in the present Ruby folder, ( Proper_animation..) the file, I've done ( passeur animé2.skp , you'll need also the plugin ). Friendly, and enjoy yours hollydays MALAISEPasseur anime2.skp

@malaise said: Hello, everybody I just send an idea. As far as Sketchy-physic is involved in animation. Could it be possible to write some plug-in in order to simulate sensor or end-switches? This would allow to build sequential movements. I mean the block B for instance may move after the block A reached a kown position.... (in french we name that AUTOMATISMES ..) We may program the positions or links on the same way ,we do for joint and block. (my Ruby Level is unfortunally very basic ) Pierre MALAISE frendly yours I am thinking about ways to make this sort of thing work.
