RS is just a great render engine, specially for those how care about quality and accuracy. Considering it is on its very early stages...

RE: RayScaper
Thank you Dave for the compliment, I appreciate it.
@pixelcruncher ; This is just an imaginary space to include in my resume as I am applying for any relevant job position, and at the time I got my Extended Master's Degree -EMD-( I believe it was the same in many countries before standardization), all the relevant disciplines were under one hood. So basically over almost 8 years of EMD, we learned about interior design, housing complexes and residential, cultural space, functional spaces (airport and hospital ...), commercial spaces , even restoration and urban design!... I did it based on a good composition rules and is not a real space... By the way RayScaper (RS) seems very promising and fast as aRaytracer engine and is very stable at this phase to be honest. For those who are so obsessive about realism, it has all needed tools and for those who seek a fast result also is applicable. Learning curve is rather shallow and the interface is clean. Thanks for letting me have my hands on RS.
I like the free material and background environment library. There are plenty of PBR materials that bring realism to the scene despite the fact that I had some minor issues to adjust the texture size at the beginning.
***: There were some iterations while modeling, Also in another version I tested a bright color scheme. feel free to change theme, material, lightings etc... -
RayScaper
It has been a while since Rayscaper has been here and although it is under development it seems that is a revolutionary Raytracing engine.

Also Nowadays I am really busy applying for relevant jobs and realized I need a large space interior to include in my portfolio.
It started with a raw sketch, then modeling and developing in Sketchup+Blender.
Here is what I got.
I also shared the model on Sketchucation, so you may play with ( I have changed the Emission power of materials), So you can try it by yourself and share the result here. Please feel free to adjust the model...

RE: Rayscaper Alpha Version Available
After a while installed the latest version and a, wondering how may I copy the same material texture to the normal map? any copy/apst or drag/drop option?

RE: Alphabet to sketch(up)
This is great, now you can develop the base idea, add/remove parts , etc...

Good old Blender! yes I import base meshes from SU to Blender to use its subdiv, handy
Lifeboats are in, Ratlines are complete and a few new materials are added
Ah man, you nailed it!

RE: Kaimiloa Yacht 1925
@axeonalias : You are pushing Sketchup to its boundaries!
Blender has a builtin Subd that makes it easier to model. By the way in some cases nothing may beat Sketchup's speed modeling. -
RE: Rayscaper Alpha Version Available
This would be a nic option and I am wondering if it is possible to keep the intensity the same but use bucket tool to change the color of some?
I mean if it is applied "inside" the component, all instances change, if applied without opening the component it changes the color of that particular one... -
RE: AI Image Generation
Is freepick free to use? Do you know any completely free AI image upscalaer please?

RE: Kaimiloa Yacht 1925
This is really amazing. I would never imagine being able to do such a thing in SketchUp.
Last week I did a one-day modeling and rendering similar job using Blender (Modeling, rendering, post pro..) based on an image on the web. You are pushing the Sketchup to the limits!

RE: Rayscaper Alpha Version Available
Thanks, Thomas and Dave.
I wish I had some spare time to do a favor for RS.or lucky to work with you, but am busy making some money to support my family and stay in the Netherlands for the "search year" period. Somehow challenging . -
RE: Rayscaper Alpha Version Available
Wow, some good news....

RE: Arches, Arches... Arches...
Mates,
I also shared the book on Sketchucation shop (besides the print version that is on Amazon). So if interested you might grab your copy here:

RE: Beautiful Amsterdam
Thank you dear Mike.
Just spared some time to do some modeling and rendering as a fun task.

Modeled in Sketchup, then imported into Blender3D adding IVYs /Rendering. Post pro: Photopea.

RE: Beautiful Amsterdam
Last day came across the St. Johann Baptist church, near my brother's stay. Did this for a friend in Munich.

RE: Beautiful Amsterdam
On Jan 24th we delivered our project "SportyVerse" and received the certificate of course completion on 26th. Now I am living in Munich, for just a few weeks, applying for a proper job (as an architect, CAD/BIM specialist or rendering expert in Germany / Netherlands).
So less spare time. Today I had the chance to spare some time and do this. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas in Amsterdam is one of my favorites.

RE: Beautiful Amsterdam
Thank you, Dave!
