How may I share a "carpaint" material pack?
If it is easier to make it in another app and share (online or locally) or use the RS?
How may I set a castum "preview" for the materials? If it is possible to change the "internal" material test scene?

RE: Beauties of Iran (other face of Iran)
@rv1974 I have no idea, mate! I hope it is not polluting for ordinary people. Let's pray for a lasting peace in the region and collaboration between the two great nations.

Mates, there was some issue here, and the internet was so slow to reach out. I wish for a lasting peace in the region where everyone thinks about thriving together.

RE: Blender, or, Blender for artists?
@panixia Ah yes, I remember the very first days when I changed to Blender; it was so unpredictable (compared to 3Ds Max) that I felt totally disappointed!
Later on, I got accustomed to that as well.
Maybe the same experience when one starts using ZBrush!
Yes, you are right, let's see what will happen by injecting more of AI to our world! -
RE: Blender, or, Blender for artists?
@panixia I was using 3DsMax since it was working on DOS operating system. After using Sketchup, I realized it meets most of my needs (+Kerkythea for rendering), and I have been moving back and forth between Blender and SU based on what I want to do. Considering the learning curve, I do not feel there is a big difference between Max and Blender, and Blender is free.
Also it seems that all these tools will be abandoned or replaced |changed by developing AI-based tools in 4-5 years. -
RE: Free of 2025
This guy has tons of creative ideas, and I would like to know how he benefits from AI in his workflow. Any guess?:

RE: Styles for a rapid presentation
Soon will share more of my personal Styles.

RE: Sketchup styles
It is technically doable, you are right, BTW it was much easier using Stylebuilder.
I personally have developed all my styles inside Sketchup, based on my previously made line-art styles (using style builder).
I will share more soon. -
RE: ASAI Entry 2025
Nice one!
It seems they pay extra attention to mood, composition, and atmosphere. -
RE: Sketchup styles
I wish the same. : see the app open source.
AI is the future, BTW in the early stages yet I believe Sketcchup styles have the lead. -
RE: Rayscaper New Releases
Those renders are lovely!

Sketchup styles
When it comes to concept sharing, I personally prefer to keep the conversation open, not confined by materials, etc. I believe the best option is still using Sketchup styles.
Recently I adjusted some of my styles carefully for the best result in concept sharing and quick presentation. No need to apply any material, they work best in Monochrome mode.
I have tweaked them so that shadows have colors preventing default gray SketchUp shadows, section line, and selected objects also are customized to add more variations and match the style.
They are now live in the Shop section:

Each one is carefully set and built up .
