I had several goes over a few years but no luck. However once I started learning VR and Unreal engine and noticing all the things I could not do in SU and badly needed I gave it another go.

I used Lynda Training to do the 8 hour Blender Essential Training : https://www.lynda.com/Blender-tutorials/Blender-Essential-Training/87088-2.html

I then advanced to other tutorials and examples. I think it took around two months to get to grips with it.

Choose this drop down arrow where it says 'responsive' and choose an iPhone instead.

You don't need to download any apps, just navigate to the web version of instagram once you are in phone mode. https://www.instagram.com/

    • RE: Instagram To Promote My Biz?

I will send you an Instagram friendly logo with the other bits and bobs this weekend, it's because its cropping it to a circle but not centring it or adding any padding.

You can add dropbox or Google drive to your phone to easily share pictures but another method is to just use a desktop computer/laptop.

      1. Open Google Chrome Browser
      2. Right click anywhere on the page and choose 'inspect'.
      3. Click on the devices icon in the top right.
      4. This will show a drop down list above the browser window.
      5. Choose any tablet or phone ( in this case I have chosen iphone x)
      6. Login to Instagram in the browser.
      7. You can just post now via computer.

Yes indeed, the two Harly's i've rented in the past are both from countries with lax rules! But I don't even have a driving license in the UK, if I see you however more than happy to take it round the car park πŸ˜‰

Maybe if we can get a bunch of riders together we can get a group discount. The rental dealer is actually in the hotel complex.
My parents toured Europe 2up on a vespa back in 1953 complete with spare tyre and tin of engine oil. I still love to look through their tattered and torn b/w yellow stained loose photos in a box.
If you only get a vestpa you'll be winning.

I don't have A1 unfortunately, I am limited to sub par engine size and doubt I could rent in US. But I think the flight will take all my pennies minus beer money!

Oh nice jealous of that. I will have enough left over from the flight to get a vespa maybe....

Anybody going to basecamp this year, I could not see another thread, delete this if it's a duplicate.

I am thinking of coming over from Sweden for the week, anybody else making the trip? I had a great time when I went in 2010, it was my first time in America!

It wold be good to see some familiar faces again!

Yes agreed, the deliverable for the client was just the model but I needed something poppy for my instagram, I found the red of the cut a good contrast to the red on the posters.

I also missed some of the section cuts by the doors, nooooo........ :0(

Stunning result and highly realistic. On the first render, is the (It looks like an image on a patio type door) angler meant to be an angler fishing or just an image on the wall?

Haha yes my thought as well, but great scene by the way!

    • RE: Sketchup based Illustrations

Maersk Line Orbital freighter in Neptune orbit. Powered by eight VASIMR plasma driven engines (variable specific impulse magnetoplasma rocket), the freighter moves bulk cargo from low orbit to high orbit where it’s transferred to larger interplanetary freighters.

The VASIMR engine is highly efficient compared to a traditional chemical engine able to move 34 metric tons of cargo to a higher orbit for only 8 tons of expended fuel. However the trade off is that it’s incredibly slow taking months to achieve this rather than days.

Therefore crews in the haulage business will typically sign up for a 12 month round trip tour. Although this type of work does not pay very well compared to the 10+ year interstellar tours, the trade off is that you always get a good view and are no more than eight hours from a conversation with home.

Cheers, this one however was put together really quick, only perhaps 8 individual components just repeated in different fashions/combined etc! I did it last week and forgot but just found it on my PC desktop.

I am trying to move away from rendering and really just using sketchup as an illustration aide.
