ok moving round a large model and monitoring both cores I am seeing distrubtion on both cores over 50% on each (more in the 75%-85% range on both at once!) it looks promising.....

confirmed. just saw 85% on both cores at once from Sketchup.exe.

(to be clear, on a normal SU 7 or non threaded app, I'll see 50% tops on both from Windows doing the sharing)

edit it is uneven tho.... maybe I'm wrong shrug

installed all the DLL's, running on SR3, all drivers and updates installed.
I reinstalled it and once again the same behavior. plus, it's icons are duplicated in it's tool bar.
I'll take another look later..right now I don't have the time

Cant remember when I have got a bugsplat and I use this daily. Maybe some other ryby does not like it... sorry no clues. Did you try 1.0.6 that was just released? If so, better post a bug report

ok it's actually install twilght. try to do anything bugplat
remove twilight, everything works fine again.

ok I'm following the instructions...
but when I restart Sketchup, all thats happening is the scripts I've moved are gone from the menu and there's no submenu's for the new folders.

the scripts I've moved don't appear as ones I should'nt move...

Solved it. there was a script not loading properly that jammed the rest.

actually the free version outputs collada already
export as KMZ, rename to .Zip, unzip and there's the model as a DAE Collada File already.

the main issue is, Collada is not a well supported format.
Today I tried to use the collada I got out of the google earth export. it's hard to find anything that does support Collada, (other than Max, Maya, Cinema, Lightwave.. erm I don't have that kinda cash actually). I've found plenty that outputs it tho.

the better supported format is OBJ. almost everything opens OBJ. so why not use that???

I've been getting this a lot
the method I've been taking is to delete the face I'm dividing then draw the dividing lines in, then selecting each subface to remove any extra faces using the delete tool.

at times I've had 4-5 stacked faces that I've had to remove before I started doing the above.

oh and an easy way to find stacked faces other than the Xray face mode (stacked faces show up darker) is with the paint tool.. if a face won't paint, it's stacked...

I've noticed that some rubies install into their own submenu in the plugins dropdown.. is this something we can do to organise the plugins? eg put all the edge tools in 1 submenu, all the exporters in another etc?

actually it wasn't an ad removal problem at all.. (btw the Firefox version is 3.5.2 the latest)
