@KarinaGM: Thanks, about skills, you need another app for sculpture. Why don't you try scultris? And an app to covert it to a clean 3ds (like blender 2.49b).

I'm actually learning sculptris ^^ tho I'm not good at sculpting, and the worst part is painting.
I've tried several times to give blender a go, but it needs more time than I have. Anyway with all those triangles I get when sculpting, I'll have to learn how to retopo (that is an almost new word to me!)
Here is my first exercise with sculpt πŸ˜„
Do you know a good tut on how to retopo in blender???? 😳

I divided the link because I'm not sure if it is against the rules to place external links

    • RE: WIP Guitar WIP. Not Complete.

It looks a bit flat but the form looks fine, you could add some detail.
Maybe if you chose another point of view, more frontal it would look better. Anyway, I'd say that the head needs more work, and maybe the body should have some buttons and stuff. Are you using some refference? I'm not a guitar expert so I could't guess what model you are modeling

I haven't even had time to use it and I am already in love with this plugin.
      Thanks Fredo

The material uses thin film interference for color and fairly simple studio with HDR.

You mean you used thin film and nothing else? 😲
well, that HDRI must be a good one.

And you say you did all this whith just those few elements?
I like the way you display your works and the composition for your final images.
My favorite is the gray image with those small portions lighted

I also would like to take note about the use of uv plugin, because I'm having trouble with it.

Thanks for posting this, (and to take the time to pm me). This is an extensive project, and is nice to see SU used in the workflow when working with real projects.
It is downloading slowly so I haven't checked it all.

Free Agent, thanks for sharing your work. Those images are impresive.
Is sad that the clients don't apreciate your efforts.

I don't usually like crowded renders, but the people in yours look nicely blended and not out of place.

Joke, I like your render and your idea. Nice rug.
Is your geometry the generated with the plugin or have you used a component? if so, is it a simple or a complex one?
I haven't had nice resultsd trying to make convincing carpets
BTW Can I borrow those heels? πŸ˜„

Now I am embarrased to show my last try at this plugin...
not finished the composition yet, and the bg is postpro, but with the pc so busy I haven't found the time to make changes and let it cook.

How did you map the textures in the notebook?
Is it just projected even for the edges?

I'm having troubles maping textures to a chair. I'd use blender (or something like it) but I have no idea how to map there either lol

      nice detailed glasses πŸ‘

I love the illumination, the textures, the choice of models and the overall feeling. My only critique is that the texture of the wall is repeating too evidently
