      Animator is purely based on kinematics, not physics. In addition, Animation is predictive[...]

      Can the plugin store the movements generated by Sketchyphysics, to later reproduce them without recalculating them from scratch? This would allow creating GREAT animations by merging different sketchyphysics animations but requiring no computation power!

Come devo fare? Posso usare come marker una foto dell'oggetto com'è adesso?
      I marker 3d sono supportati dal plugin sketchup e dalla licenza free?
      I marker devono essere per forza orizzontali?

      The first time Anton further developed the original SP 3.2 from Chris Phillips.(3.3.0 - 3.5.6)
      Then I further developed.(3.6.0 - 3.7.1) I no longer making several editions.

      64-bit SketchUp is not supported. Use the MSPhysics, it is much more advanced, although still under development. But it works flawlessly.

      Thanks, now it's clear.
      But then SP is no more being developed by anyone?

      Which one is the best to simulate mechanisms? SP or MS? For example, to build two gears which move together in sync. I find very uncomfortable SP in this (at least in old versions), when I had to set up by hand each single tooth!

      It remains just for 32-bit SketchUp to use.

      I'm a bit confused...

      V.3.2 was the last one from Chris Phillips, now stopped?
      Than a new branch named "3.5.x" was started? By Anton_S ?
      Then a NEW branch named "3.7.x" was started? By PituPhysics? Or this is the continuation of 3.5?!?

      What does "It remains just for 32-bit SketchUp to use" mean? That a 64-bit version exists?

      3.5.x branch.

      Yes, this is a good idea - maybe that's the problem.
      You can also right click > Unglue if this is the case.

      This issue was driving me crazy! Thanks for the tip... 5 years ago!
      For Italian users, the "unglue" option in the popup menu is named "scollega".

      The more complex procedure described here is translated into italian below:
      "Open the Component Browser and select the Model tab [small-house icon] and then highlight the Component in question.
      Select the Edit tab.
      Under the 'Glue to:' list change it's setting to suit - perhaps to 'Any' in your case, as you want it to 'glue' to any face ?"

      Menu Finestra --> Componenti
      Cliccare sul pulsante con la "casetta" nella linguetta "Seleziona"
      Selezionare il componente che non si "attacca" all'asse blue
      Selezionare la linguetta "modifica"
      Nella listbox "incolla a" selezionare l'opzione desiderata, che in questo caso dovrebbe essere "Tutti"

      I think an important upgrade (which probably would not require a major upgrade to 2.0) which could be very useful: specifying number of teeth should result in creating gears of different diameter but with same teeth size; this would make it much easier to make "compatible" gears.

      (look at http://sites.google.com/site/simgears for the trial of an STL gears generator)

      Thanks Anton_s for the amazing amount of work you are doing!

      A couple of notes:

      @unknownuser said:

      Fixed a bug where staticmesh inside a group would force simulation to crash. A staticmesh or compound within the group becomes default shape now.

      This bug still exists for me using WinXP-SP3, SU 13.0.4812 and SP 3.5.5

      @unknownuser said:

      Added continuous collision checkbox option to the emitter. Enabling this will prevent emitted bodies from passing other bodies at high speeds. Now, bullets will collide if CC is enabled.

      Where do I find the checkbox?

      Additionally, a "make hole" function in SP would be amazing and time-saving!

      I don't think there is anything out there to heal your model. I have no idea how it was created, do you have individual files of each photometric section, but you have overlapping sections in a radial array and a mass of jagged bits and loose geometry all over the place.

      Yes, it's a mess...

      @box said:

      Maybe you can repair each part of the radial array in meshlab then stitch them together.

      Maybe I could fill holes in each part using this plugin(it works fine for simple holes) and also stitch them together using the plugin again. Hopefully this will result in new holes which I will maybe be able to fill using again the plugin... and so on till I fill all of them!

      @box said:

      Plus you seem to have multiple copies of the component which is making the file much bigger than it needs to be.

      I didn't notice it, I'll check.

      What is the attachment?
