Help with plugin

I was using a software program called Transmuter by Lindale that would turn a exported model from Blender into a skp file so my 2017 sketchup would accept it. Is there a plugin that would do the same thing? Thanks

You could try this:

[Plugin] Universal Importer - v1.2.6 - 30 July 2024
Hi! Here's a free new SketchUp plugin: Universal Importer. It imports more than 50 3D file formats*. Bonus: You can reduce polygon count of imported model o...
sketchucation (community.sketchucation.com)
It works with simple stuff
But the best way I fould to go from Blender to SU is to use the DAE export in Blender.

@Rich-O-Brien thanks, I will try. Just to expand I create a model in makehuman export to blender to pose then export to Transmuter which turns it into a skp file so sketchup will accept it. Now Transmuter that I payed for $80.00, 3 years ago wants $80.00 annually. So I appreciate your help.

I was using a software program called Transmuter by Lindale this program allows anyone to import a model say from blender and transform it into a SKP file so Sketchup (2017) will accept it. I was enjoying this software till they decided to start charging me annually rather than my one-time payment. So my question is there a plugin that anyone knows of that I can export a model and turn it into a SKP file? Thanks .

Have you thought of exporting a blender model as .stl?
-
No I haven't STL Not quite sure my experience is sketchup (2017) will only accept and recognize a SKP file, but I will say I am not experienced in all that acceptance. Thanks

That's not correct. You can import .stl files into SketchUp 2017.
Presumably you have Blender since you have a Blender file. Open the file in Blender and export a .stl file as Rich suggests. Then use File>Import in SketchUp to import the file.

@Dave-R stl Is good for 3d printing, is definitely not the best for textured models tho.
Those Make Humans files have unwrapped textures, so I'd choose another format such as dae (which is the one that Rich actually suggested) or other formats such as fbx or also obj that Universal Importer can easily manage.
If I recall correctly Universal imported is also able to manage the .blend format itself.
Another option could be export a textured obj out of Blender and import it with QuadFace Tools obj importer which can preserve both the unwrapped texture and the quad topology.
