I have found render previews look lighter than they actually are. As soon as you click save, the saved image goes dark. So good idea to check the saved image and then increase exposure and save again. I get the same issue with Twi and Thea.

I second that! Took awhile to catch that for me though.

      sorry, but it's very poor.

I disagree but saying it's poor and not at least offering some constructive advice seems rude.
      IMO.

Which forum member has this signature? Makes me laugh and reminds me of such a situation.

A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

      πŸ‘ So true.
How you explain that to the client can make or break the relationship though.
I have been less then diplomatic in the past.

    • Lock Shift or something

This is may seem stupid but here goes.
Is there a way to lock the shift key while selecting.
Sometimes I need to select zillions of faces in a group ( window select not practical)and if by finger fatigue or an error selecting a line outside the group. I have to start all over.

Hoping to hear: "Stupid, just do bla bla."

No, this is a self contained program with a variety of import export option. This, of course, includes *.DXF, *.DWG, *.RDS and *.SKP

Don't see *.SKP on their site.
      Where is it?

      Those windows are great.
It does give one a chill from that background. (HDR ?)
Prefer less DOF for forground., (IMO)

Great, easy to understand application of SU for construction.

    • RE: Failed Save + Unexpected File Format

I got this trying to save a file while rendering and the render was updating.
I narrowed it down to this when it happened a couple of times.
Probably not your problem but I think it has something to do a memory conflict.
My case it saved after render updated.
Never happened before and can't make it happen again.

Needs some work on metal texture. IMO.
Would use a metal texture on everything but handle.
      Handle real nice work.

Hello John, very nice use of textures, what size are you rendering at because they look a little soft.
      John

Yes they are small. 1046x576 just test renders.

      Love your work.
Show your site when people visit. They look at mine then I show them yours.
      Very humbling!
