RE: Right click > add texture
for me it should affect all faces inside the group / component - and all groups and components inside those.
thanks

RE: Right click > add texture
If there where one it would be nice. I could use it - for an example - to change the material on some furniture, that consist of a lot of groups, faces and so...

RE: Right click > add texture
I don't see how ? Can Remove_CG_mat.rb affect only one object ?
-
Right click > add texture
Is there a rubyscrip that allow one to rightclick on a group / component and then add current matarial to all faces inside ?
I have searched but not found one

Thanks

RE: From Revit 2010 to Sketchup
Hmm how irritating

I hope SU soon gets a update so importing dwg 2010 format becomes possible.
We have autocad 2010 at the office, but plan to move to Revit, so importing dwg in Sketchup can become a source of irritation.

From Revit 2010 to Sketchup
Hi
I have just installed the 2010 version of Revit.
Does anyone know if it's possible to export a Revit file to Sketchup ? I have tried to export to dwg, but SU don't recognise the fileformat
it might be dwg 2010 format
Thanks

Hi Thom Thom
When I try to export via your exporter I always get a 'Failed to save image'

What can I be doing wrong ?
Thanks

RE: Just Released! Subdivide and Smooth
Hi
I often use the knife tool - but it crashes SU 7 very often. Is this a known issue ?
Thanks

Move objects via arrowkeys
Could it be possible to write a script that moves objects by using the arrowkeys ?
Lets say 100mm in each direction and 1000mm when shift and a arrowkey is pressed.
It should work like shortcuts, not open a control window with burtons
Could it be done or does it already exists ?
Thanks

Printing elevations in scale
Hi
I have a bulding that is triangular, so only one facade is aligned to the axis.
I can print this one facade in scale (printing to PDF using CutePDF). But the other ones I can't print in scale. I guess its because they are not aligned to the axsis. I have tried to align the axis to the facade and set the view to 2d. But still no go. I have to rotate the whole building to print in scale.
Does anyone one know if it's possible to 'cheat' SU to be able to print in scale ?
Thanks

RE: Axis align by object
So it's not possible to write such a script ?
it's not only for moving objects, but I also need it when I wan't draw some lines or a object, that needs to be in the same direction as other lines.....
yes I know that I can turn the axis manual, but I would like a faster way of doing it.
I have used AutoCad for many years where it's possible.... I guess thats why I need it

RE: Axis align by object
Hi
I'm sorry. I did not describe the need I have good enough

I often need to draw a line parallel to an other line, or move an object in a parallel or perpendicular direction.
So, actual I only need one axis to do this. Yes, I can align the axis manually, but it would be nice with faster way of doing this.
I hope this explaines what I meant

RE: Axis align by object
Ah, thanks - I was'nt aware of that option. But how about to align to a single line ?
Thanks

Axis align by object
Does anyone know af a script that add a 'Align axis by object' in the content menu ?
It could be usefull sometimes to be able to quick aling the axis the same way as the selected object - is it possible ?
Thanks
Jorgensenps. thanks for a very usefull group - so many exciting tools are been made by ruby programmers
