    • RE: Flight Path - Undo and only camera position

Too bad about the scenes 😞 but nice about the scenes settings.

      One question ?

how does it actuali work ?

I guess that the script splits up both the camera path and target path in the same amount of points. So to get the best result, the two paths should be almost the same lenght ?

I'm working on a scene and have a problem. It seems that the target 'runs' a bit faster than the camera, and it gives me some headache.

      Thanks for a great tool

    • Flight Path - Undo and only camera position

      Hi

I have started using the Flight Path script and have two requests:

      A
Is it be possible to create a undo function ?
I use a bezier curve to controll the camera, and I often have to adjust it a lot, and have to undo the scene creation manually 😞

      B
Is it possible for the created scenes to only remember camera postion ?

      Thanks

Seems that exporting as animaion as images and then importing them into Vegas could be a solution.

    • Export lineart - poor quality

How can I export an animation with nice sharp edges ?

I would like to export a nice AVI movie, using hiddenline mode in SU.

Right now I have tired to export to uncompressed and uncheked anti aliasing - but the lines still seems to blur 😞

Can anyone suggest the best settings for a nice output ?

      Thanks

    • RE: LightUp

      Hi Juju

Thanks for your very usefull information.

It's strange that it takes long to export as AVI, does it have to render the light for each frame ?

      Thanks

    • RE: BeizerSpline - Latest version (obsolete)

Would be a nice feature πŸ˜„

And an method to add controlpoints at specific places πŸ˜„ (don't think it's possible right now ?)
      ups - doubleclick - sorry πŸ˜„

Is it possible to enter a value for the distance to move a controlpoint ?
Or even better - make it possible to click on a point and be able to enter it's z-axe value.

Btw - this is a fantastic tool when creating paths for animations πŸ˜„

    • RE: LightUp

I have tree quite simple questions i guess

How do you walk around like in the Sponza building ?
When I try to walk I loose the lightning

Is the light included when one export as AVI ?

Is it possible to export 2d images containing the lights in a heigh resolution ?

      Thanks

    • RE: Assembly Animation -- a New Functionality of SU Animate 2.0

I was wondering if it's possible to combine SU animate and Flight Path (part of presentationbundle2). So one can export an avi file of the camera moving around, while objects move ?

      Thank
      Jorgensen

ps. I'm quite new to this animation part πŸ˜„

Those renders are very great πŸ˜„

You are the master. You are not only good at rendering / textureing, you also master the ability to compose scenes in a dramatic and surprising way. And on top of it - you master postprocessing - I envy your talent 😲

Thanks for contribution. I think we all can learn alot.

    • SU Animate

      Hi

Has anyone in here experience with SU Animate and know if

      • it's possible to animate objects and cameraes along beziercurves ?
      • it's possible to animate both camera and objects at the same time ?
      • it's working together with Flightpath.rb ?

And have any of you used it for presentations ?
      Thanks

    • RE: Different line widths

Thanks to everyone. It seems not so easy to do, so I just keep on useing colors to create differences in the drawing. Ultimate I use autocad, but I would just like to keep it in the same drawing.

      I will have a look at Thicklines.rb.

I simply don't like Layout, to slow and to complicated (a fundamental thing like updating views/layouts is a pain). What is possible inside Layout, should be a intern part of SU, like model- / paperspace in AutoCad. But thats a nother story πŸ˜„

I like the combination of SU and Indesign - but SU is a bit of a pain to print from, but I get hold of it now using PDF995 πŸ˜„

      Thanks all.
