How can anyone be tricked by this ? A 2D image in the same distant-plane than the wall... No paralax, no stereoscopic effect. Nothing that can sell the trick...
(Not mentionning the sh*ity vfx ! ^^)

cmeed, can you check if you still have the dump/log files produced by the bugsplat ?

I'll try to reproduce the bug. That's a big problem if it corrupts files... I'm so sorry, I hope you didn't lose your work.

Did you try disabling/uninstalling the plugin ?

If you have an old copy of the file that you didn't open after you installed Layers Panel, it would be great if you could PM it to me

When you undo, the Layers Panel dialog reloads its content. So what you're seeing is related to the same bug everybody is having with group names.

When you had the problem, did you restart sketchup after installing the plugin ?
If you manage to reproduce the bug, I would be glad if you gave me the intructions.

Sorry, but that's a limitation of the API. Sketchup saves the dialog's size/position between sessions, but not during a session... Dumb, I know, but there's not much I can do.

That's not really the purpose of the plugin, which is to manage layers, not the model's entities. Maybe one day I'll add this kind of features, but for now that's not my priority.

Changelog :

• Locking layers (Works only when purging or deleting from the plugin's menu)
• Ability to add a layer only visible in the current scene (New pop-up menu when holding the "Add layer" button)
• Layers Panel is now a toolwindow, but you can't dock nor collapse it
• Two different delete buttons, for better performance (The red cross deletes the layer content, the green arrow moves the content to the default layer)
• Several bug fix

I will, but first I'm learning what are the differences between windows and mac.

There are chances, but it'll need a fair amount of modification, because OSX doesn't handle webdialog the same as Windows (a lot more complicated, actually). Plus, I don't have a mac myself, so debug won't be easy.

In my stats, I see some users on Mac OSX using Layers Panel several days in a row. So I'm guessing it's kind of working on OSX. Can someone tell me exactly what's working and what's not ? Thanks

Not yet, this option is on my todo list
In the meantime, you can use another plugin to do that, Layers Panel should work with anything adding layers.

Weird, it should work. Are you using version 0.2 ? What is your windows version, and internet explorer version ? Can you send me the file ?
