Hello Didier! It's great news.
In any case, thank you!

RE: Sunflow's exporter
Didier i read(fro s~r's forum) about new version of su2sf.
Can you share it? -
RE: Sunflow's exporter
Hello Kwistenbiebel!
I have same errors.
Nice w.i.p.-render, sunflow has instacing-structure like 3dsmax's proxy and i like it.
Indigo is alternave to Maxwell render/fryrender
I think sunflow - vray-killer )))...too
PS
I am from vray4skp-forum too. -

Hi all,
Should I be editing the .sc file (it's HUGH !) or instead put code in the 'script' editor.
Where can I change the presets like resolution, GI settings, etc...?I tried reading briefly through the Sunflow forum but couldn't find the answers.
Could someone give me a hand to get started with this?
Thanks in advance,
KwistenbiebelKwistenbiebel look at cornell_box_jensen.sc or julia.sc from examples
you can download from off.site of sunflow render.but need add some modification to lights or mats
-------julia.scgi { type path samples 16 } light { type spherical color { "sRGB nonlinear" 1 1 .6 } radiance 60 <----------for gi center -5 7 5 radius 2 samples 8 }
from cornell_box_jensen.sc
trace-depths { diff 4 refl 3 refr 2 } photons { caustics 1000000 kd 100 0.5 } % uncomment this block and comment the following GI block to switch gi engines ............ ........... %% use these to view the effect of the individual gi components % override debug_caustics false % override debug_globals false % override debug_gi false
and mat-s had
shader { name debug_caustics type view-caustics } shader { name debug_globals type view-global } shader { name debug_gi type view-irradiance }

RE: Sunflow's exporter
I try to find sunflow render version 07.3 and found it...
If you haven't, try this http://rapidshare.com/files/44324513/sunflow07_3.zip.html -
RE: Sunflow's exporter
Thank you, Didier!
GSU's dev.team, you need to make more "comfortable" functions of UV-mapping!!! -
RE: Sunflow's exporter
Didier, thank you for answer!
I'm glad to read this. It's nice to make double-ui interface.
I just simplify(in new modification of su2sf) into: 3 render-presents that made by Wooster-dandruff... add some NON-TEXTURED SHADERS and custom-dialog to choose image-res-n and gi-setting. That's all.
In manual - http://www.geneome.net/other/otherfiles/sunflow-manual.pdf
we have definitions about TEXTURED SHADERS.So we wait new version of sunflow...

RE: Watermarks with Ruby?
Whaat look at http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/how_it_works.html
iteresting thing makes by ibl-effect. -

Is there any way to load a watermark with a ruby script? So far, I have not found any way to do it. None of the methods in the "Style" class look very useful.
Hello Whaat!
Have you try to make post-effects to i~r's(indigo render) extension kit? 8O
it's really interesting thing! -
RE: Rendered for a friend
Hello Matt
feversoft gives it(in full package) for registered users... -
RE: Rendered for a friend
hello!
I like maxwell tests...
So have you try new MR 1.6 + 1.1 skp-exporter?
I look at plugins_improv_bug.doc@unknownuser said:
SketchUp toolbar was implemented for Maxwell SketchUp tools
All the cameras for all the SketchUp pages are exported to the Maxwell MXS file as inactive cameras for possible later use in Maxwell Studio.
Full support for SketchUp texture manipulation added β texture rotation, skewed textures, and photo-manipulated textures are supported.
Maxwell Command Line parameters can be entered directly in the SketchUp dialog
Image search path support was implemented into the SketchUp export dialog - it is now possible to specify the path for missing textures.
Ruby dialogs were rewritten using the Maxwell Render color scheme
Visible Render area indicator was added to the Ruby script
Pick focal length and Show render area were integrated in the camera dialog
Protect geometry and Low priority switches were added to the export dialog
Reset all options in the export dialog was implemented
Fixes:
GMT offset was wrong on OSX Intel machines - fixed.
Materials were updated to use the new internal material mechanisms
Default tone mapping options is set properly now
MXI export switch works properly again
Film width/height controls were added back to camera dialog
Entities with different SketchUp texture clones were exported as a single object - fixed. -
RE: Sketchup 7?
I share skp's intall dir and find it Program Files\gsu6pro\glcards.dat
with this info// Case doesn't matter. // Partial strings are enough to make a match. // HW == Use Hardware OpenGL // SW == Use Software OpenGL // any|ANY matches any Renderer. // Format- // Acceleration|Vendor|Renderer|Support File // Defaults first. HW|ATI Tech|any HW|NVIDIA Corp|ANY // Then Specific cards. //SW|NVIDIA Corp|5200
How it work?
Why? -
RE: Sketchup 7?
@unknownuser said:
Did anyone already mention the wish to have support for directX 10 in SU7?
I don't think that DX will be influence to OGL...
It's different shading engine from MS
So only need to create 2 or 3 shading support: OGL, Software(DX) and Hardware....Dev.team(from Autodesk, Maxon..) make this feature for viewport... user can chage it, if his videocard is support it -
RE: Sketchup 7?
Not only or before organic modelling?!
SUPPORT of HIGH-POLY MODEL(ing) with flexible instacing(look at xsi, maya and i like cinema4d) too. -
RE: Night scene render with v-ray?
@alex v said:
im trying to render an architectural scene [SU model] at night. I know how to do it in 3DS Max, but I am totally lost with SU + V-RAY. I setup rectalinear lights but I still dont get a glow from the windows.
I am lost.
Any ideas on tutorials?
Try to create "box" from vray infinity planes, then add to one plane material(with night city or something pic in emissive layer with low intensity)
And read about sky examples at spot3d.com. -
RE: Podium Trouble!
i try to render your work with podium 1.5 b2
and results:- all your settings - test 1, render time=1m16s
---- - only change opacity of Translucent_Glass_Safety to 19
test 2, render time=7m18s
My hardware settings: amd-64bit 3200+(desktop pc), 1gb ram
I think you need to change pc or upgrade it...or post processing in fotoshop too
I forget to add res.1024x768Also try Vray for sketchup(its from biased renders...)
- all your settings - test 1, render time=1m16s
