i like the chrome car! the only small itsy bitsy tiny detail that i would change is to shrink the spoiler a little. thats the only thing that i sould change. besides you know, the addition of paint, doors, windows, and all that stuff.
just got some new shoes, but not just any shoe: The Shoe. as in The Father of All Shoes to Come. as in converse all stars. high tops. in black. white soles. oh ya.
i still have to scuff them up and all that, but what ever.
and daniel, you have shoe overkill. a man only really needs one pair of shoes: a pair of chuck taylors. (god, that sounded like an ad! heck all of my post sounded like an ad, im sorry)

one word: MONEY. as in, right on the money, as in the "let me pick my jaw up off the floor" kind of on the money. awsome!
274
d'oh! the roof cant go lower!!! the seat is in the way!! my bad.
273
agreed. tread = jacked.
272
hey, fredrick! i want that texture!!!! i am wanting to make a drumset in SU and i was looking for a sparkle finish and remus and i coulnd figure out how to do that, so how did you?
270
granted, but you can only stay at a motel in a shady neighbourhood
i wish my full alowance would come sooner.
PS, if my computer was HAL, i would have alot more to worry about than it calling me "Dave"

i honsestly had to ask myself if that was a picture at fist glance! the render makes all the difference. some one did a very good job with that car even at the low poly count, the vents on the back, the curves of the sheet metal. you can only tell from the edges and the wheels.
great work kwist!

i sugest you tone the roof down, it seems a little... pointed. almost cone-headed. the front looks dodge viper-ey. great carr overall, the roof is my only complaint.
i got it!!! i looked at the pics again and realized that the wind shield is what's causing the problem. its really big! downsize the wind screen and make the roof less pointed and you should be good. i dont know that you can do that now in the later stages, but it sould vastly improve not only the looks, but probably the arodynamics too.
266
granted, but now you are such an amazing jugler that every one is a fan of you and you have no time to yourself.
i wish my computer would have more memory and RAM so i could start rendering again.
265
no really, i mean shoes! (i refuse to use the term "kicks") i know this is really random, and probably no one will post anything here, but i thought it would be fun...
anyway, i have a single pair of converse all-stars. lo-tops in grey. they're all nice and scuffed up and weathered, as i like to say "well loved"
so, what do you wear?

hey, about your question about 3-d printing. unfortunatly, SU cannot send ot a printer because all of the objects are not solid, they are simply made of infinitly thin faces. the printer canot make things that thin, so you would have to export to a solids modeler like solidworks in order to print it. i know, so sad.
i heard of this place in the SF area at the maker faire 2008 called the tech shop. they have everything there to make things. even 3-d printers. you have to pay for it, but you can bring in a flash drive with the model loaded on it and plug it in and have it printed. its pretty cool. they unfortunatly dont have one close to where i live, so i have to drive for quite a while to get there.
wow, boofredlay is one happy person. and would stinkie please stop binging up the spyware thing? this is supposed to be about posistive things.
the one thing i really like: making something great after spending hours of work on it, and watching it work perfectly and complete its intended goal. such a great feeling
and yes, the cool side of the pillow. and to go with that: turning on my electrcic blanket about 45 minutes before i go to bed on a cold night and then when i get into bed, its all nice and warm. ahhh.....
oh, and lucid dreaming. only have them about once every 3 months or so, but they are great. i used to be on a forum about them, great place, but apparantly you had to be 15 and... well... you get it. heres a wikipedia link:
playing my drums and just listening to them. ive gotten so used to playing them that i can set myself on autopilot and just listen. and it sounds great (im so modest)
this forum, thanks coen and co.
steampunk. greatest. subculter. ever. such a great community and energy, everything is DIY, and you are constantly slaping youself on the forehead thinking "why didnt i think of that?!?!?!?!". wich for me, is a good thing. it means i can use or modify that great idea that i never would have had normally and use it in another way.
foggy days, where its just foggy enough so that i cant see the end of my street, but not so foggy that you need to rent a cane to feel your way around. on those days, is just the right tempature, the air is still, and nothing has a shadow.
i could go on and on (im a very happy person, ussualy), but i have to keep the posts short, so i'll continue this later.

well, to tell you the truth, i didnt really have a set course. i just went along at the same pace as the students and taught what ever seemed necesary. i didnt go with a set plan because it might move too fast or too slow for the class. i had a small class of about 15-20 people, so i was able to go around and help every one individualy.
and yes remus, i am happy that my school does things different. i was the first ever student to teach a class there, and rather than going "oh, it'll be too much work" they did everything they could to help me achieve this. i go to an awsome school, great teachers, great progects. heck! for one project i got to build a tennis ball cannon that shoots tennis balls 100 feet up in the air!

pshh! ive already seen it! this is kind of redundant, because all the car people would have already heard of it! there are entire magazines all full of car stuff. (i get three per month, im pretty informed)
still, i like it. mr bangle's "flame surfacing" desing method has alwas been a love-hate kind of thing, but i always thought it looked cool.
chuck norris doesnt get wet, water gets chuck norris
every night before he goes to bed, the boogy man checks his closet for chuck norris
some kids wear superman pajamas, superman wears chuck norris pajamas.
chuck norris once took a road trip from NYC to hawaii.
chuck norris can slam revolving doors
chuck norris once sued NBC for infringing on the copyrights on the words "law" and "order", the names of his left and right legs, respectivly
258,
ps, that was from memory. oh ya.
