That's great Mo53ley and thanks for taking the time to respond - although I was talking about the fast zoom button (between the forwards and backwards buttons)

I would still like to use forwards and backwards, but then use the fast zoom button for a double click as it makes navigation easier and takes the strain off your index finger.

Is there no customisation for the 'fast zoom' button? Personally I'd like the option to switch that to a 'double click' function.

Make the mouse wireless and add a double click button for your thumb and I'd be sold on it.

Thanks guys, but I've solved the problem now.

For some reason the edge properties were set by default to 'soft' only. Not sure if that's a bug or a d'oh! moment on my behalf.

OK, so I've tried disabling all other plugins, but no luck.

I've also completely removed Round Corner and LibFredo from the plugin folder and reinstalled them. Again no luck....when I try anything other than Sharp Corners I get the warning "Invalid (Property filter)".

I haven't tried installing manually (without the Sketchucation tool).

Me either...I'm still in the process of adding them as needed. Maybe there is a conflict that didn't crop up in 2014, so I'll try disabling everything else and see what happens.

Has anyone else found the plugin to be a but buggy with 2015?

I'm using the latest version (along with the latest LibFredo) and I regularly find that I can't select edges on basic shapes with one or all of the RoundCorner tools.

After restarting my PC everything usually goes back to normal, but the plugin will suddenly stop functioning at some point during a modelling session.

The modelling stages illustrated are pretty straightforward. Is there a particular stage you don't understand?

How about the ability to toggle camera clipping off and on?

That makes your modelling even more impressive Alvis. Is there any chance you could share some of your workflow for adding creases and imperfections?

It's the one area of furniture modelling that I'm still struggling with and I usually resort to adjusting the mesh after subdivision, which isn't ideal.

That's what I thought, but wondered if Alvis might also use a randomise tin plugin.

Not yet....

In my view, it's no different to creating a painting or illustration that features a particular furniture design.

There are others who disagree and there is pressure to protect furniture designs from being reproduced in any 2D or 3D medium without consent (including works of art or photography).

Here's a neat little trick I figured out today. It's a method for creating a more relaxed (evenly spaced) subdivision for a many-sided circular planes.

You will need QuadFaceTools (QFT in the gif) and SplitTools:

I'd been putting off working with vertex tools, but it seems like it's going to be essential when it comes to improving my Artisan modelling.

There go my plans for the weekend out the window .
