Its a start ... What I was thinking of was a dialog box system that would work as a live & update-able schedule for Assigned Buildings ...

Something like my attach image

A few dialog popups to assign building names to simple blocks and produce a schedule for all of them would be nice

Assuming each Building is a Group ... you could name the Group - "CP-03" - Building Name

GFA = [AREA] * [FLOORS] ....

[FLOORS] = [HEIGHT] / [FLOOR TO FLOOR HEIGHT]

[FLOOR TO FLOOR HEIGHT] = USER SPECIFIED

Its related to drawing with "Spaces" in 3d using the extrusion option for each space ...

See attached drawing for example of what I have setup below...

Using property sets and property data format options iv created a multi-view block to use as a tag for each "space" block ... which would generate the following information for each space ...

Footprint: - [Automatic from Space]
Floors: - [Building Height] / [Floor Height]
Floor Height: - [Manual Data Entry]
Building Height: - [Automatic from Space]
GFA: - [Footprint]*[Floors]

**All was well until I realised that its not quite perfect system ...

What I would love is:**

Floors - Manual Entry
Floor Height - Manual Entry

Building Height - [Floors] * [Floor Height]

Footprint - [Automatic from Space]
GFA - [Footprint]*[Floors]

.....

Does anyone know if this is possible ...

I was thinking can dynamic components be programmed to do the following and if so can somebody break it down for me ...

Scanerio: I have a floor of a building as a component copied multiple times in the z direction to form a massing building block ...

Desired outcome: if i change the height of one of the building's floors [component- "Floor"] could the the rest of the floors that make up the building reposition up/down automatically to allow for the new height data for each floor?
