Hi all...
[Firstly ... If they is a current tool can somebody point me in that direction ]
I would love to have a script that would Clear All(or)Selected layer colours based on a dialog pop-up - similar to one for materials
Thanks in advance
Chris
that would require creating loads of components and would take longer
I have lots and lots of loose geometry from CAD to mass up and what would be perfect is protrude but with a bit more customization fields ...
I couldnt find protrude author who shall i contact ?
Hi all
I was wondering if there is an update for protrude or another tool that is similar to do the following Process
Selected all ...
Extrude randomly using the following heights:
Min : [User specified height) 8
Max : [User specified height) 24
@ 8,12,16,20
So instead of random heights between 8 & 24, the heights will be of only values 8,12,16,20 or 24
Thanks Chris
ok im now getting this message:
Error Loading File vismap2_menu.rb
can't convert nil into String
Hi can anyone help me ?
For some strange reason this tolls has stopped working on my machine all of a sudden ... i activate the tool from plugins menu and nothing happens no dialog box opens nothing
why would this happen ?
Is it possible for this page to have thumbnails of the styles above or as part of the link ?
Can I see a video explaining how this works please?
maybe this ? http://www.1001bit.com/pro/1001bit_pro_user_guide.pdf
Goto page 37 ...
Hi everyone ...
Which is the best plugin to use to create a fly-through film in sketchup - ?
Im looking to create a 2 minute flight path with the camera moving along a path while rotating on subjects
Hello All
I was wondering if Dynamic Components could be used to create buildings blocks :
For example, you have a component for a residential block with the floor height set at 3m per floor and you can set the height of the building in floors and the geometry updates
and have another one for retail, commercial, and other predefined landuses which would have different settings
Another requirement would be for you to specify the ground floor to be of a different height and use
Look forward to responses
Chris
Where is this tutorial ?

my budget is around Β£50 per machine
that's not much... the nVidia Geforce GT 440 is probably the 'best bang for the buck' you can get for this small amount of money.
Add roughly Β£30 and you will get something more capable as e.g. the GTS450.
And keep an eye on the power consumption, the GTS450 consumes ~100w if forced, in peaks up to ~135w. Which requires a power supply unit of min. 300 watts.
hth,
Norbert
Thanks very much
So GeForce or Nvivda ? my budget is around Β£50 per machine
uhm ok i should have said that im not a technical expert and have no idea about graphics cards, im just after a solid recommendation on which to buy
thanks

I dont know why but I have installed the files but i get
"The CityGen's core files is not laoded. ensure you installed this plugin correctly"
I opened up the zips to both the core and streetgen and copied into Plugins
why is it not working ?
Because StreetGen goes into a subfolder of CityGen. The description has detailed info.
Ok iv moved the files into the correct location, boot sketchup and I get no error message, now how do i use the plugin ?
