Round all the way up both top and bottom. The foot part at the end will stay mostly flat with maybe a smooth bevel on it.

    • Tapering Object

How do I taper so it starts as 1 1/8" tapering to 1 7/8"? I know I probably goofed in the beginning. I took a block and pushed the waste away to get this shape. I tried tapering the rectangle block first before I pushed the waste away, but that did not seem to work. Please help. Thanks.

Also how do I smooth the whole thing minus the tenon of course? I tried using the standard smooth tool and that did not work. It just left it an incoherent shape. I tried a loop subdivision plugin and that did not seem to work. I still want the shape but smoother, like turned on a lathe.

    • RE: Hiding Lines

That was the ticket. Smoothing AND wireframe hiding. Complex geometry can be tricky. Thanks all.

Dave. Softened them to the max and was still left with lines. Going to do the wireframe on the rest and see what happens.

Erase shift works , but will take forever with that many lines. Was hoping for a fell swoop approach.

Hmm. Menu View/ Edge Style works but it takes the edges away from other models as well. Have soften on.

Thanks TECH, but that does not work. Tried it every which way.

    • Hiding Lines

How do I hide all the lines on this object? I tried hitting hide when it is selected and it hides the whole object. There is no way I am going to go through and select every line to be hidden. How do I do this? I know there is someone here who will say oh dada Boom. Thanks!

    • Good photo plugin

I am looking for a good plugin that makes placing photos as textures better. I use the import and everything and it works, but there has got to be a good plugin for getting photos on tricky faces like curves and such. Can anyone recommend any plugins?

    • RE: Moving multiple objects to center

I will work on that idea. I am going to turn this into a schematic for a cut list though. I am still trying to figure out if the apron is going to be one piece or four with tenons. If it is one piece then I am going to notch for the legs and make saddle joints with a couple of braces running crisscross under the top. Still thinking about the best design/stability of it.

Let me now if you have more ideas. I will keep playing around with it. Would be good to know how to move multiple object to a center point. I am sure it can be done.

    • RE: Moving multiple objects to center

@Box While that would work, that is kind of a pain because if I want to adjust several times I have to delete and redo the array. There has got to be a solution. I will do that if I have to. Thanks.

    • Moving multiple objects to center

      Hello all.

How do I move all four legs at once to the center point keeping them on the same plane? I know how to move them up and down, but I can not figure out how to move them all in to the center.

    • RE: Large Tools horizontal

I have tried docking/undocking. I have moved it all over. It will not go horizontal no matter where I try to grab it from. It just stays vertical. I want it to be horizontal like the other tool bars. Please see screenshot. Do I have a defective copy of Sketch? Is there a plugin for managing tool bars?

    • RE: Large Tools horizontal

I see the screencast, but I am talking about the standard large tool set, not the BZ or any plugin toolsets. The standard large tool set that comes with Sketch is vertical. My cursor does not change to make it horizontal. How do I do this?

It only gives me the selection arrow. No cursor arrow.

That utility does not seem to work. I can not seem to find the MakeFace plugin by Todd.
