Thanks PituPhysics, now I can move my objects.
Still some doubts about parameters (like controller and min-max position)
But it start to be clearer

RE: MSPhysics 1.0.3 (16 October 2017)
Sorry but for me is really unclear.
What should i have to write?
Controller field is a single line field.
So eventually i can insert only a row of what you have write above.
I paste "rightx Left - right arrows" in the controller field, press the play button and press left and right arrow but nothing happen.
Of course is my fault.
But could you gave mme an example step by step of using a piston joint? -

For the time being, you can control the keyboard.
Could you please explain me how?
For example, if i place a servo joint connected to an object, what should I do to move that object in play mode? -
RE: MSPhysics 1.0.3 (16 October 2017)
Maybe I didn't explain well my problem.
I know how to use joints!
The problem is that if use hinge, or motor or slider, all work well. I simply have to drag my object to move it.If i use piston or servo, in Sketchyphysiscs, when i press play, a popu control panel with a slider appear and it allow me to mov emy object.
With MS, nothing appear and i can't move my object -
RE: MSPhysics 1.0.3 (16 October 2017)
Hi, I'm just trying it on SU2016 make. It all seems to work but i cannot understand how to use piston or servo motor or motor.
If i press UI button i expect a window with interactive controller to appear but it's not, or better, a window appear, with many tabs, but the joint tab is empty when in play mode.
So, how to move an object connected to a servo joint? -
RE: SketchyPhysics 3.5.6 (26 January 2015)
I've just downloaded the new version of Sketchup Make, installed sketchyphisics and all seems to work, but if i try to edit joint setting nothing happen.
I right click on a joint, select "joint settings" and i expect a widows appear (i used this in an old version) but no window appear and i don't know which is the problem. Is there a way to have a debug of it?
thank you! -
Soap skin bubble plugin without icons
Hi!
I have a problem with the soap skin bubble plugin.
I had the 1.0.14 version, and i decided to download the newest one 1.0.21.Having some problems, i decided to delete all the soap skin bubble's files in my SU8 folders. i Found some in Plugins folder and some in tools folder.
Start again SU and there was no Soap skin bubble plugin anymore.
Ther reinstalling the plugin, it get right but it create a toolbar with no icons.
All button works cotrrectly ('cause i remember how they are placed) but no icon on buttons.
In the plugin ffolder all seems correct, there is even a SoapSkinBubble folder with a "Image" subfolder that contains button images, but the buttons still empty.
Does anybody know how to solve?Thank you so much!

RE: How to fillet multiple surfaces
ok!
Perfect!
That's what i mean
I think I'll give up about this.
It takes too much work for benefits that it gives.
thank you so much! -

Yes and what is this ?
That block the round corner plugin!ops..but it blocks round plugin only if you try to do what you did, not what i need right?
-
RE: How to fillet multiple surfaces
no pilou! I don't want the net to be rounded!
I need the intersection faces to be fillet
Like in the picture attached.
I need a fillet where there are blue lines.
-
RE: How to fillet multiple surfaces
Sorry but it's not clear to me what you mean.
I don't want to round the edges of the "net" (yes, there is some strands that make a net).
I want to round only the intersections between the net and the rounded cilinder.
And in my net it seems there is nothing to clean..some strands and some holes between strands.
Should i have to separate each strand of the net? -
RE: How to fillet multiple surfaces
Sorry, I've posted the wrong draw where i was trying to use the solid toolset.
This is the correct one.
I want to round only the intersections between the two solids,
But manually it's an hard work and it doesn't seem to work well with round corners tool.

How to fillet multiple surfaces
Can anyone help me in how to fillet the two object in this draw?
The followme tool is not the solution in this case, maybe there is a tool like the round corners that allow to fillet all surfaces?
thank you so much.

RE: Subtract several screw hole from a solid
@bob james said:
select all the holes
run outer shell (makes all the holes one big solid)
subtract holes from coneWOW!!
So simple!!
I didn't think it was possible to make different items without contact a single solid. -

How about making a group that is 1/36th of the whole, array copy, then run outer shell on the lot?

Shep
It is not a bad idea
..even if I think it's more difficult to draw a slice of the cone, specially if the cone have multiple incinations or not? -

Two more suggestions:
-
use two hole components (one half top, other half bottom) with the hole cutting function active and array copy them and explode them at the end
-
Explode all and use the plugin FixIt, see animation:
[attachment=0:1dfcwj62]<!-- ia0 -->fixit_holes.gif<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1dfcwj62]
what is the HOLE CUTTING FUNCTION??
It is a nice solution..but i need to explode everything...and it can be a bad thing if i have a complex gemometry that mix with others..

If I had to do holes like that, I would do it differently. I'd use the Drill plugin from the Wudworx tool set. After drilling the first hole, it can be copied and arrayed as many times as needed. Holes can be drawn with countersinks for flat head screws, counterbored or straight. I use that plugin any time I'm drawing screw holes.
Wow it seems a very nice plugin and it's quite cheap but i need to draw even square holes so it doesn't fill my needs.

I grouped all the hole components. I then entered the group and exploded all the components. That made them into a single solid group. Trim from the cone.
Maybe this is the best solution at the moment. It allow me to use it with every hole shapes such as square or conic holes.
OT Is there a way to automatically create a group when using an array creation of a component or whatever element?
I mean...when i create 300 hole from component, then i have to select them all to make a group, sometimes it is easy and sometimes not if many other element of the scketch are near.It could be nice if there was a command that when digiting x300 it asks me "do you want them to be grouped?" or something similar.

Subtract several screw hole from a solid
Hi!
I have "problem" with my new experiment.
I'm trying to draw a truncated cone that should have some hole to fix it to another part.
To do this, I've created two groups:- truncated cone
- the screw hole template
Now If i place the screw hole on my cone, i can subtract from it without any problem once.
But what if i have to make something like 100 hole in the cone?
Should i have to subtract manually for 100 times?
I'm quite sure there is a solution but i can't figure out which is...maybe with another approach..Can anyone help me?
thank you so much.
Attached my example.
