    • Help with Speedboat

Hiya Folks! I've been using the Soap Bubble Plugin to try and build a speedboat, However, I need a bit of advice with making part of the top section. I'm attempting to make something similar to this boat here:

      http://ployer.com/archives/2007/07/27/XSMG-Speedboat-754365.jpg

I've got the hull pretty much the way I want it, But I'm having some trouble working out how to do the Cockpit, I've got a rough side shape for what I'd like it to be, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it applied correctly. Perhaps one of the SketchUp Wizards can help?

    • RE: KMZ to SKP

Why don't you just download the KMZ to your Computer, and then open it with Vivaty, then save it as a .skp. It seems fair enough to me.

Those are lovely models, You should give Hypershot a try, It's very good for the renders you'd do.

    • Ubiquity

Has anyone heard of the latest release from Mozilla Labs? They call it Ubiquity.

In Short it's a plugin for Firefox that essentially integrates one web app into another, See here for more info: http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-ubiquity/

I've tried it out, and it seems pretty neat, I've moved most of my work to Chrome, but I think I'll be a 2 browser man now.

I've been having this issue too, and for that reason I'm using Chrome. It just seemed to start all of a sudden.

I think they'd be using the Far Cry Editor, Apparently a similar thing will ship with the Xbox Version.

Oh and Durant, It's not possible to assign UV Maps within Hypershot. You need to do this in the modeller.

Brother Durant, Those Jack UV Maps... Just no can do in Hyperactiveshot... Gotta do it in your Dreamworld Modeller...

Whatever's easiest for you to understand πŸ˜‰
