Dear Durant, I have a big problem when I try to understand your English, but I'm happy, because now, you will struggle yourself to understand mine πŸ˜„
First of all, it's the most friendly program that I used so far...all you have to do is to open one model(lot's of formats here), and....done! If you seat back at this point, you will definitely get something on the screen. But, the most important thing, is to have good models (detailed), and good materials. The program came with his own library with basic materials like wood, glass, metals, paint, plastic, velvet, etc. You can apply your own textures, creating an "general" type of material, but you have to map some textures in other program( sketchup or other), before bringing the object In hypershot. Then you can shift, tile the texture, you can use bump( better with normal maps), specular maps, and yes, it has alpha channel, but I don't use it so far...I guess it's working, because there are some "meshes" in the library. And yes, you have "including alpha channel" when you render.
It's a "product render" program first of all, and you can use not only HDRI in the background. Simple jpeg's will do the job. And the object, still looking like it's seating on your background image!
If you didn't check the home page of this program, check this link( for video tutorials) and you will find things that my English didn't let me to express myself.

Oh and Durant, It's not possible to assign UV Maps within Hypershot. You need to do this in the modeller.

Brother Durant, Those Jack UV Maps... Just no can do in Hyperactiveshot... Gotta do it in your Dreamworld Modeller...

Whatever's easiest for you to understand πŸ˜‰

Yes, it's great! But I have a problem too; most of my work it's about furniture, and basically, I work allot with interior scenes....and beside that, I have v-ray πŸ˜„ But it's funny , amazing, easy to use.
            Have fun!
