I've been there! hehe
(just after christmas... I was visiting some friends in Dublin... and after that I had a trip around the island... awsome place)
As far as my few photos of it are showing, this is a great model!

a cloudy sky maybe? i think it gives you a bit more reality and reference...
good start!
Amazing Images.
I think is showing a live building...
(nothing against the empty people renders... witch are cool for other porpouses)
The only thing that seams a little bit strange for me is the angle in the perspective...
it looks like the building is suffering some wind forces.. haha
For me, something more close to a 2 point perspective looks more real..
Anyway, good stuff!
actually, both things

Some of the images have a distorted look to them that takes away from the composition. I am not sure if it is just me but there is a gloomy feel to the images...kind of odd. Maybe it is the black and white sky.
are what i liked most... hahaha
The human eye apparently can "focus" atention to a 60 degree angle view.. but can actually almost get to 180 degree field of view... as if you extent both arms to side and then closing them in, when you can actually notice them getting in to your field of view.. even if out of focus...
The 50 degree as standard for the human eye in perspectives seams to me really close to reality...
very "sharp"!
interesting project and good images!
Zaha hadid would probably like it... hehe!
right... i've just loved this topic... let's keep it alive!
Do you actually think that we believe that was the same person that made that really good car... AND that shit building?
oooo comunidade parada essa em portugues hein?
eu jah nem tenho entrado muito aqui, jah fico pela forum geral mesmo...
Valeu pela dica Fernando!
Abraco!
i think in a first moment it did work...
give it a check in the zip file... i've imported your material, and exported from the Material Studio...
sorry, i've just checked the posts again... witch means that it might work.. or not..
rigth.. thanks anyway guys, lets give it a try!
So with this Material Studio, i'll be able to open those materials from th web site, and then save them as a vray for sketchup material?
humm... if i got it rigth... the materials in the http://www.vray-materials.de/ are not ready to use in v-ray for sketchup?
Thanks Mate!
Lots of materials in the first link... good stuff!

would be possible to modify so we could extrude along square shapes as well?
Use a precision of 4 and you'll get square section prisms.(RTFM)
Simple anD easy.. MERCI!
Thanks didier!
It works great!
I've already used...
One single possible request... would be possible to modify so we could extrude along square shapes as well?
So in Solo's image above for example, i could quickly build beans, columns.. etc etc.. all square?
Thanks again!
PS: i've just donwloaded your all in one file... i'm feeling it'll take me ages to check them all...
Thanks for your reply remus.
I think it is a little bit more complex as in this case the mesh is not in a single plane, it's a curve canopy and my experiences with FFD never came up with a good precision in the end...
