That's British irony, Walter. The most likely thing would be that they would canibalise it for parts...to make a napkin-sketch Plugin for ACAD...then just ditch the remaining dried husk altogether. After all, you can't have people designing stuff on a free or $500 piece of software when they could be using ACAD.

Well, First it just came into my mind because we are now indeed here at SketchUcation. On the other hand, there used to be (ahm... still is a "How-to" section in the "Old Forums", too, though it was mainly intended to provide some basic knowledge (however some were obviously useful) I don't know really - especially if the whole community is not interested, there shouldn't be another "useless category" I think. I myself made a few tuts, too (as I also post a lot at the Groups Forum, mostly to help "newbies") so I think tuts can be useful. I'll think about it and we can get back to this.

Hm... There is some problem with the file though - I textured it with GMLTexturizer plugin and Kerkythea for instance cannot find any of the textures. What I guess, GML Texturizer creates new textures from the old ones (not sure about this though) and when I deleted some of the (seemingly) unnecessary textures to purge the model (before posting it here), I seem to incidentally delete the needed ones, too. I may try to redo the whole thing to see what's up. Also, since GML Texturizer positions and distorts the texture, Kerky may not be able to handle it (I read some posts by Tomasz regarding this kind of issues though mainly with photomatch - and I don't know ruby at all anyway so I'm not sure this would be the case here, too).

This brings to mind the stemless, round bottom glass that is new on the market. It will tilt and you can even spin it, but it wont spill, supposedly. From the looks and feel of it, the bottom interior thins as it rises, giving all the weight to the bottom, it seems.
