RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
Ok so I did some "research". The liquid I bought is a 50/50. The smokes I were smoking were a "Light". The "burn" I am getting is about the same as when I would smoke a cig down to the butt. So if I go with a 40/60 that would make it smoother, or should I just wait and see if I get used to the 50/50?

RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
I suppose I need to go back to the shop and ask more questions about what they have. Because I haven't a clue about PV or what ever.....LOL

RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
I was smoking 2 1/2 packs a day, and went with the 12 mg. The first flavor is English toffee. I am having to get used to it. It seems harsh. Unless I take really small hits it makes me couth my head off. Am I too high at 12 mg.? It doesn't seem so because I always seem to want more..

Found a vape store down the road, they suggested this:
I'll probably try it tomorrow and sample some flavors.
I have the eGo-T. Just broke down and got it on a whim after reading all the posts in here.
Was driving by and saw a Vap shop. that is just a Vap shop nothing more. Pretty cool... they let you try different units. Had about 100 sample flavors in different levels and a big screen TV just to kick it relax and try......so I did -
RE: Trimble & Sketchup 64 bit

So all those 64 bit software companies wasted their time redoing their software?
Autocad would work just as well as 32 bit?
I guess I'm just confused.I think of it this way, first you draw the box..then you make it a component. You can't make it a component before you draw it. So that's the linier end of it. But if you copy and paste a hundred times, that could be multi cored 100 times, because it already exists. Which would be faster than using just a single thread.
So, no I don't think they wasted their time.

RE: Downloading from the warehouse
@box said:
When you download and save a component as a file you are saving the whole container, so to speak. If you save the component files to a component library that you have set up in your Component Browser you can simply insert the components from there and they will be wearing their top layer as you put it. When you open the file directly you are really opening the component for editing.
Thanks!, I moved the whole folder (I download almost every Kraftmaid cabinet so I wouldn't have to search the warehouse all the time) into the Sketchup components file and they work! But it still seems that it is wrong to not be able to just open the file directly.

Downloading from the warehouse
Why is it, when you download a DC from the warehouse as a file, it is missing the (I guess) "top layer"? If I download into my model it works. If I download to a file it doesn't work. Many of the Kraftmaid cabs have options for say "width" based on their catalog, but these options are lost if I download the cab to file. I have to download it into the model and then save it to have the options work.

RE: Need help on a panel door
@dave r said:
Ah. I see. So does a panel show up as nine parts?
As long as it works for you. I guess if you have a lot of the same doors, that could be workable. My personal preference is to keep the parts as single entities and get accurate numbers out of the cut list without doing any math. I've never found resizing doors manually to be any trouble, anyway.
No the panel just resizes

Question for you: How does your door show up in a cutlist?
Sorry it took so long to answer have been in the shop a lot working. As to Cut list, it shows each piece of trim as three separate pieces. But, since the ends are all the same and only the length of the center changes, I manually edit the export file and just add in the length of 2 ends to the length of the center and delete the ends. This works because cutlist reads the end trim to the long point of the miter. I just made sure the naming is correct left center right or top center bottom so I can find them later.

RE: Google Buys Company Famous For Scary Military Robots
Who knows...why are they developing driverless cars? They have a team here in Sacramento (mapping it I guess). We have all seen the little vans that drive around taking pics for Google Earth, but this is different. It is a car with a periscope going through the roof attached to a computer that fills the whole back seat. The driver and passenger have keyboards and monitors that just about fill the whole front area! Maybe there looking for drivers that don't complain lol

I use the scale tool. I draw the circle, use the scale tool by clicking on corner holding cntl key. Start the move and type in 2 or .5 to double or halve the circle

RE: Are Solar Panels Facing the Wrong Direction?
We just finished a solar array for a customer. He had bought a Tesla model S car and wanted it to charge the car. After he made change after change it ended up being big enough to power his whole house! It is pointed south lol.

RE: Curiuos about scale tool vrs push/pull
@box said:
The scale tool is scaling one instance of a closed component, the push pull tool is adjusting the geometry of the component itself.
You can scale a closed component or one open for editing, you can only use pushpull while in edit mode.So it is a designed in part of the tool. I use it for setting my doors so that editing the styles and mullions are easier when changing a door size. Now I see it wasn't just 2 different programmers programming differently on the same action....

Curiuos about scale tool vrs push/pull
I have only been learning for a year now and things keep popping up I have to question. If I have multiple copies of the same component, why is it the scale tool will change one and not the others yet the push pull tool will affect all the copies? Is that an error in the tools or a built in design difference? Not that I mind because I use it that way, in combination with each other. I was just wondering.

Another good way. I just didn't think shape bender went past 360 degrees. Learned something new!
